Born and raised outside of Flint, Michigan to hardworking parents, I held my first job at 15 years of age. I received by Undergraduate Degree from the University of Michigan in 1989, and my Law Degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1993. I have been practicing law in Illinois since 1993. I started my own practice in 2012, with a focus on family law/divorce, personal bankruptcy, and foreclosure defense... I have a common sense and non-adversarial approach to my cases. I attempt to resolve cases quickly and efficiently, keeping the cost as low as possible, while still ensuring that my client's rights are fully protected. I also believe in being completely honest with each client about the status of their case, and about their options, even when it is not always what they want to hear.
