SeaSonde HF radars map the currents out to distances of 2-300 km from shore... CodarNor AS is founded by Dr. Anton G. Kjelaas who has been working over a longer period with Codar Ocean Sensors Ltd. in California USA promoting the use of HF Radar in the Nordic regi on. As president and owner of CodarNor AS, he has been focusing on new applications for high-frequency radar along the coasts of Norway... CodarNor AS adapts radars to Norwegian conditions and specializes in developing new applications of the technology in oil spill response, environmental monitoring, weather forecasting and search and rescue. CodarNor is also engaged in the development of HF radar for use in the detection of surface ships at distances up to 300 km from shore.
