IUOE is dedicated to serving and protecting the needs and interests of its members and their families through the collective bargaining process, legislative action and extensive training and skills improvement programs... As you browse through our web site you will have an opportunity to see that we are providing upgrade training to our members as well as providing a quality apprenticeship program for new members coming into the Union... The local 649 is the Peoria charter of the IUOE. Since 1917, we have provided help with collective bargaining, legislative action, extensive training.
