The Chirala Engineering College was established in academic year 2001 by GSR & TSR Educational Society with a clear objective of providing quality technical education in tune with international standards and contemporary global requirements. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), affiliated to the JNTU Kakinada and recognised as the Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) by the government of A.P. It is the first engineering college in Prakasam district to attain ISO:9001:2000 certification... Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated on 31 October every year to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who had a crucial role in the political integration of India. CEC is proudly encouraging students to participate in Unity Diwas by organizing rallies, Debates, Essay Writing, etc in and association with NSS and NCC units.
