DENTAL CARE 4 KIDS - Key Persons
Dr. Helia Koleini moved from Iran to Texas when she was 12 years old. After completion of her bachelor of neuroscience degree in Dallas, she was accepted into dental school at UT Health in Houston. During her studies in Houston she fell in love with working with children so she pursued her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist and was accepted into the pediatric specialty residency program at UT Health in San Antonio. She met her partner in residency in San Antonio. After the pandemic Dr. Koleini and her partner decided to move to Toronto to be closer to family.
During her spare time Dr. Koleini loves to do yoga and learn new languages. She is currently learning Italian and she is fluent in English, Farsi and speaks some Spanish.
Dr. Lynn Jacob started her university career at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus. She graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1998. She returned to the University of Toronto to complete her Master's degree and specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She is a past-president of the Ontario Society of Pediatric Dentists and is a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Pediatric Dental programme.
Dr. Jacob spends most of her time outside of the office with her twin daughters and husband. She enjoys reading and practicing yoga in her spare time.
Dr. Chiu was born and raised in Taiwan and began her career as a general dentist in 2002. In 2004 Dr. Chiu moved to Toronto to complete her pediatric dental training. Having been in dentistry for over 20 years, being a mother herself and seeing parenting evolve over the years, she always strives to deliver a positive experience for both parents and children. Dr. Chiu is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto.
When Dr Chiu is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family, watching Netflix and going for long walks. More recently Dr. Chiu has discovered that a quick workout at F45 enables her to decompress on her days off.
