CSGB was established 1 April 2010 with a grant from the Villum Foundation of DKK 25 million. A second funding period started in 2015, based on an additional grant from the Villum Foundation of DKK 30 million... We hope that our research will have a strong impact on the development of stochastic geometry and advanced bioimaging, and the interplay between these two disciplines. The aim is that the developed mathematical, statistical and computational methods will improve the analysis of bioimages substantially. CSGB wants to contribute to the added scientific knowledge in public health-care and the biomedical industry by education of young researchers in analysis of bioimages, produced by modern image modalities and cutting-edge microscopy techniques... Bioimaging relates to methods of visualizing and quantifying biological material from images.
