Dr. Steven D. Johnson - President

Steven Johnson, M.D started his career in high field NMR research at the University of Minnesota's Department of Biochemistry. After publishing his thesis, he attended Medical School at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Johnson went on to complete a Radiology residency, followed by an MRI fellowship which included several additional scientific publications. He has spent 28 years in private practice maintaining participation in all areas of MRI interpretation.

Gregory Snyder

Dr. Snyder has been a licensed physician since 1995 and a board certified Radiologist since 2000. With additional qualifications as a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Snyder has been actively involved in telehealth throughout his career both as a University of Minnesota Radiology staff physician and Fellowship program director as well as private practice endeavors with EssentiaHealth, Minnesota Radiology and National Radiology. Other career efforts include regulatory involvement serving 8 years on the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards - currently as Chair of the Board of the FSMB. Dr. Snyder continues to be influential in shaping the agenda and discussions around National Medical Regulation.

Herb Jones

Dr. Jones is a board-certified Radiologist specializing in Radiographs, CT body and extremities, MR body/pelvis, joints and soft tissues, ultrasound, fluoroscopy (including joint injections), and Nuclear Medicine. He attended Medical School at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a Radiology residency at the University of Minnesota and an Osteoradiology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.

John Arias

Dr. Arias was born in Colombia, South America where he lived for three years before moving to Alabama. He graduated from Duke University, majoring in French. He obtained his MD at the University of South Alabama and completed his residency and fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Utah. Before founding Direct Radiology, Dr. Arias spent over 17 years in private practice and teleradiology, where he divided his time between Park City, Utah and Sydney, Australia. He is a Managing Partner and Founder of Direct Radiology, and holds both American Board of Radiology Certification and American Board of Nuclear Medicine Certification.

Kyle Henneberry

Dr. Henneberry is a native of Spokane, WA. He graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and completed radiology residency at the University of Colorado. Prior to founding Direct Radiology, he worked for Nighthawk Radiology Services from the United States, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, serving on the Internal Review Board for Quality Assurance. Dr. Henneberry is a Managing Partner and Founder of Direct Radiology, LLC. He holds American Board of Radiology Certification.

Laurence Bub

Dr. Bub immigrated to the United States from South Africa with his family in 1976, gaining citizenship in 1981. He grew up in Denver, CO, and majored in English Literature at Harvard University. Dr. Bub attended medical school at the University of Colorado, and completed residency and neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to founding Direct Radiology, LLC, he spent six years in private practice and teleradiology, serving on the Internal Review Board for Quality Assurance and as Medical Director at Nighthawk Radiology Services. Dr. Bub has published original research in Radiology and the Journal of Trauma. He is a Managing Partner and Founder of Direct Radiology, LLC, and holds American Board of Radiology Certification with CAQ in Neuroradiology.

Mark Takaki

Dr. Takaki was raised on the island of Oahu, where he attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Hawaii. He completed a transitional internship and diagnostic radiology residency program at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He was then fellowship trained in body imaging at the University of Washington. During fellowship, Dr. Takaki began contracting teleradiology services for vRad and remained with them for 9 years. In 2010, he and his family relocated back to Honolulu, where he currently resides.

Mohsin Ghadiali

Dr. Ghadiali is a board-certified Radiologist with extensive research experience. He attended Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, followed by a Radiology residency at St. Vincent Hospital and a Neuroradiology fellowship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Nayyer Islam

Dr. Islam is an experienced and highly trained MRI fellowship trained Radiologist. He specializes in MRI including Body, MSK and Neuroradiology. Dr. Islam is proficient in all modalities and oversees MRI quality reporting. With a very diverse background in education and experience, Dr. Islam is also MQSA certified and performs on-site breast biopsies as well as on-site pain management.
