TRULINE

Truline Corporation was founded by Grant Truman in 1962 as a single truck operator carrying produce from the West Coast to the Midwest and hauling beef and other agricultural products back to the West Coast. Truline received ICC authority to haul gypsum from Las Vegas to Southern California in 1973, but was able to significantly expand after deregulation in 1980. Truline was one of the first companies to adopt curtain-sided trailers on the West Coast in 1982 as we developed innovative solutions to improve our customer's supply chain. Truline further diversified in 1995, adding dry vans and refrigerated trailers to our product mix. The beginning of a new century brought many changes for Truline. A new transportation management system was adopted and satellite tracking and in-cab communications equipment was installed in all of our equipment helping us to continue our industry leading position of efficiency and safety.
