In 1985, a group of concerned citizens came together to raise funds for the fledgling Saanich Peninsula Hospital, a full service community hospital serving over 30,000 households on the Saanich Peninsula and Gulf Islands. These visionary members of our community created an independent charity to respond to the rising cost of delivering quality healthcare to residents of the Saanich Peninsula and Gulf Islands... This section is dedicated to all of the donors, volunteers, sponsors and community partners - your peers - who give kindly of their time and money to support the Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation. Each has a unique story and relationship with the Foundation, and we are honoured to consider them partners as we continue to promote healthcare excellence for the Saanich Peninsula and Southern Gulf Island communities.
