Angeleen Nath is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background and 18 years of experience in occupational healthcare.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Western Sydney and a Bachelor's Degree in Management, Public Administration, and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific.
Throughout her career, Angeleen has demonstrated expertise across banking, finance, medical screening, and administration. She has excelled in various roles, including Finance Officer, Medical Screener, Administration Officer, and Practice Manager, consistently delivering excellence in operations management, compliance, and organisational efficiency.
With a proven ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments, Angeleen is passionate about leveraging her diverse skill set and commitment to quality service, making her a valuable asset to any team.
Anna has over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, with a strong passion for general practice, corporate health, and delivering exceptional patient care through a holistic team approach. When she is not managing the two busy clinics, she enjoys long beach walks with her toes in the sand or whipping up delicious meals for friends in her kitchen.
Annette joined the team at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart in July 2017, with 18 years' experience in general practice. Her background encompasses many years of managing highly effective healthcare teams as a practice manager. She enjoys being an integral part of a friendly and productive team.
Annette has experience managing medical practitioners, physiotherapists, nurses, psychologists, exercise physiologists, health screeners and administration teams. This ensures she is well positioned to assist and promote a growing business in Hobart.
Brendan Cook is our resident Physiotherapist who has worked in the area of workplace health for over seven years. Brendan completed a Master of Public Health with distinction from the University of Western Sydney in 2012 and has experience in injury treatment in addition to workplace health services.
Brendan provides a full range of services to our patients including employment screening, functional capacity evaluations, job task analysis and workstation/worksite assessments.

Brooke commenced with Sonic HealthPlus in 2016. She is a very valuable asset to the Hobart Sonic team. As the senior CAO, Brooke's high-quality customer service and attention to detail have earned her a position as operational lead for the Australian Antarctic Division, overseeing and maintaining this very valuable account.
Caitlin has been with Sonic HealthPlus for 15 Years and has a wealth of knowledge. She is responsible for all administration duties. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her young family.

Dr Abdul has a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements related to drug testing, including the guidelines set forth by the regulating bodies.
His role a MRO is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of drug testing results. He reviews laboratory reports, interviews individuals who have tested positive, considers legitimate medical explanations for positive results, and makes the final determination regarding the drug test outcome. The qualifications and expertise of Dr Abdul contribute to the reliability of the entire drug testing process within the clinic.
Dr Andrew O'Shea obtained a degree in immunology before completing medical school, graduating as a doctor in 2003 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has worked in various hospital positions in both the UK and Australia before completing specialist general practice training. Dr O'Shea has furthered his qualifications with a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a Certificate in Skin Cancer from the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr O'Shea has been practicing in the Joondalup clinic since 2012. He has also been involved in teaching medical students and serves as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is experienced in all aspects of general practice, with special interests in paediatrics, men's health, chronic disease management, travel medicine, occupational medicine, and workers' compensation. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family and traveling, including teaching English in China and assisting rural medical clinics in South Africa.
Dr Arul Manivasagam has joined the Sonic HealthPlus team in Joondalup with more than seven years' experience in occupational health. His areas of interest include musculoskeletal and skin cancer screening.
Dr Lia works with our Rockingham clinic on a part-time basis, and completes occupational health medicals, women's health medicals, injury management, AMSA, and OGUK medicals.
Dr Asgari completed her medical training in 1995, and has worked in general medicine for over 20 years. Since 2006, she has worked in occupational and corporate health, covering injury management, rehabilitation and return to work, pre-placement medical examinations, immigration and travel medicine and periodical health assessments of safety critical workers, such as rail and defence. Dr Asgari has extensive medical research experience and has a PhD in Biology from Melbourne University.
Dr Birender Singh joined our team in 2012 and brings extensive experience in general medicine and children's health. He is a general practitioner and occupational health doctor. Additionally, Dr Singh has an interest in skin cancer management and in performing skin checks.
Dr Chin has been an occupational health medical practitioner since 2013, joining Sonic Health Plus in 2015. She graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and has completed her requirements for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate.
Dr Chin is an accredited AHP for railway medicals, Medical Inspector of Seafarers (MIS) for AMSA, Government Contracted Doctor (GCD) for Disability Support Pension and Medical Review Officer (MRO). She is experienced in performing pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, driver medicals, rail safety medicals, disability medical assessments, seafarer medicals, injury management and rehabilitation, NSW Coal Board medicals and telemedicine consultations.

Dr Carolyn Valdez graduated as a general practitioner in the Philippines, and has been living in Karratha since 2007.
Dr Valdez is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Her interests include woman's and children's health, general medicine and mental health. She also performs occupational medical work and is an accredited UKOOA, AMSA and Vanuatu seafarer's medical inspector.
Dr Valdez is a keen supervisor of the next generation of doctors and is a member of the UWA Rural Clinical School and John Flynn Placement Program.

Dr Catherine Nixon graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2001. She worked in a number of areas including forensic medicine and as a GP /Emergency doctor in regional and remote hospitals across WA and Queensland before moving back to Perth in 2013 to work with the Sonic HealthPlus team.
She is the Site Services Medical Director oversighting and managing any on site and remote services including Poison Permit, on site vaccination programmes, on site skin checks and on site health surveillance programmes. She is currently developing and will be the lead in the WA specific Sonic HealthPlus WA health surveillance programme providing best practice health surveillance programmes to companies.
Dr Cecilia Mudbidri commenced with Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta in October, 2015. Dr Mudbidri graduated as a medical practitioner in 1997 and went on to complete her Masters of Public Health in 2007 through the University of Sydney. She furthered her studies by completing her Masters of Occupational Medicine through the University of New South Wales in 2010. Dr Mudbidri has extensive experience working within occupational health, having worked within this discipline since 2004.
Dr Mudbidri performs a range of services at our clinic, including independent medical and health surveillance assessments, disability medical assessments and has experience within workplace injury prevention and management.

Dr Charles McKibbin is a general practitioner with a primary interest in occupational health and dermatology (including general/cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer medicine).
Dr McKibbin graduated in 2005 with a degree in medicine (MBChB) and molecular and cellular biology (BSc[MedSci]) from the Universities of Dundee and Glasgow, respectively. In 2011, he completed his general practice training (MRCGP) in Scotland, and worked in Ireland, before immigrating to Australia where he gained a fellowship with the RACGP. Since then, he has gained additional qualifications in skin cancer medicine, aesthetic medicine and general dermatology from the University of Queensland and Bond University. He also been recognised for his extended skills in dermatology by the RACGP.
Outside of medicine, Dr McKibbin enjoys boating, the AFL and traveling.
Dr Clare Devine moved to Australia from the UK in 2012, and since then, has been providing medical services in Mandurah.
Dr Devine provides all general practice care and specialised women's healthcare (including menopause management and contraceptives such as IUCDs and implanon insertions).

Doctor Craig White is a Consultant Occupational and Environmental Physician and the State Medical Officer for Sonic HealthPlus in WA and SA.

Having completed a wide-range of post-graduate studies in the fields of occupational medicine, Dr White provides highly specialised advice to clients regarding the effects of work on health and conversely, health on work.

Dr Darren Parker completed his medical degree in 2012 and then went to work at the Wollongong Hospital, completing his resident training in 2014. Since then, he has worked at Canberra hospital both as a medical physician registrar and radiation oncology registrar, before deciding on occupation and environmental medicine training. He joined the Sonic Health team in Canberra at the beginning of 2017.
Prior to his medical studies he completed his undergraduate degree in Journalism and a post graduate degree in Marketing. He worked through his twenties in various countries around the world before settling for a few years in Ireland where he was a research and practice development officer for a paediatric hospital. This peaked his interest in returning to Australia and studying medicine.
Since joining Sonic Health, he has completed a graduate diploma in Occupational medicine at Monash University and in 2021 will be a guest lecturer at the Australian National University.
His particular interests in occupational medicine includes education, research, environmental risks and incidents and occupational health and safety for government employees.
Darren enjoys working with the fascinating and motivated individuals that come to the Canberra clinic. This includes employees of Antarctic Research division, Border Force, Department of Defence, Department of Foreign Affairs and trade and Home Affairs.

Dr Cleveland trained and studied a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in the UK, working in various roles including; Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Psychiatry and Surgery. Qualified as a GP, he then moved to Australia, gaining expertise in occupational medicine. Dr Cleveland began specialist training in Australia to become an Occupational and Environmental Medicine Physician.
Dr Cleveland is a Fellow of the Royal College of Australian General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He is also an Advanced Trainee - Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (Royal Australian College of Physicians) and Registrar Representative on the Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) Federal Council of Australia & New Zealand.

Dr David Cleveland has been appointed as Sonic HealthPlus' Deputy Chief Medical Officer, effective 1 July 2024. He will lead the strategic medical direction to help deliver on Sonic HealthPlus' 2024-2029 Strategic Plan: Simply Better.
Originally trained in the UK, he has lived with his young family in Mackay, North Queensland since 2011. Dr Cleveland initially worked as a GP and now is an Occupational and Environmental Medicine Registrar, MRO, CMO and Appointed Medical Advisor for multiple companies across Australia.
Dr Cleveland provides consulting advice to various governmental entities such as Resources Health and Safety Queensland (RSHQ) and the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR), most recently he was a member of the expert medical panel that authored the Returning workers with mine dust lung diseases to the workplace guideline. He holds an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow position at JCU's Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine and Wesley Dust Disease's Research Centre where he continues his occupational dust disease research. Additionally, he is a member of the National Faculty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health - RACGP and have been since 2011.
Dr Cleveland is a previous recipient of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) President's Award and is a Clinical and QA Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has also been known to travel to work on a helicopter.

Dr David Jones is an experienced occupational physician who has been in specialist practice for over 25 years. He is currently an Occupational and Environmental Physician with Sonic HealthPlus, providing a range of consulting services for corporate and government clients. He undertakes independent clinical assessments, fitness for duty assessments, assists in the design and operation of health surveillance programs and provides a wide range of specialist consultancy advice services in the fields of occupational and environmental medicine.
Dr Jones is certified to carry out independent medical examinations for the assessment of permanent disability and to assess individuals and provided advice under Australian and New Zealand Standards with respect to drug and alcohol testing, including giving consultancy advice to employers about organizational policies and management of such cases.
Dr Ditza Teng earned her medical degree from the University of Western Australia, undertaking her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and subsequently completing her residency at Joondalup Health Campus. During her residency, she dedicated additional time to working in paediatrics. Dr Teng has successfully completed the Sydney Child Health Program, obtained a Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health, and achieved a dual masters in public health and health leadership/management.
Being a mother herself, Dr Teng is passionately committed to assisting other mothers navigate the challenges of parenthood. She provides evidence-based advice and guidance, emphasising the significance of establishing a secure, confidential, and supportive environment for her patients, particularly for adolescents.
Her interests are in all aspects of women's health, dermatology, treating chronic pain and geriatrics. Dr Ronsberg has been working as a general practitioner in Rockingham for over five years. She also works in the Rockingham Emergency Department on weekends. Dr Ronsberg attends regular professional conferences and meetings and takes a keen interest in updating her medical skills through courses and training. Dr Ronsberg also enjoys water sports, cooking, travelling and languages.

Dr Anbalagan is an Aviation and Occupational Medicine Physician. He believes that work, in general, is good for health and wellbeing. His passion is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment he holds in assisting them, whether they are entering work, seeking to stay in work, or trying to return to work.
His training, academic qualifications and experience span the disciplines of Aviation Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Public Health and Family Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He has comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the assessment of medical conditions for the issue of pilot and air traffic controller medical certificates and working up complex cases.
Dr Garry Vanderveen studied in Dunedin, New Zealand completing Physiotherapy and then his Medicine/MBCHB degree in 1994. Dr Vanderveen's internship was undertaken in New South Wales, followed by general practice training here in Western Australia. Dr Vanderveen worked at a south of the river general practice for 12 years prior to joining Sonic HealthPlus in Karratha, eventually joining Sonic HealthPlus West Perth in 2012. Dr Vanderveen enjoys the variety of work at our clinic and covers general practice, occupational health and travel medicine. His main interest is in injury management and return-to-work cases.
Joined Sonic HealthPlus in 2019. Dr Choudhary has previously work in a General Practice for 4 years. She performs workplace injury management, Pre- employment medicals and AMSA medicals. She enjoys the mix of injury and Pre- employment medicals. Enjoys gardening in her spare time.
Dr Low obtained his medical degree from University of Queensland in 1999. He worked at the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane, before moving to Melbourne in 2008, where he worked in the areas of visa medicals and occupational medicine.
His interests in occupational medicine are predominantly in occupational pre-employments, and medical assessments for regulatory bodies such as AMSA, NTC, Austroads and Centrelink.
Dr Himani Pant is an Occupational Health Doctor who joined Sonic HealthPlus in November 2015. Dr Pant graduated with her MBChB from the University of Auckland and later completed her GradDip OccEnvH at Monash University. Dr Pant specialises in conducting various assessments, including pre-employment medicals, rail safety, commercial driving, AMSA, health surveillance, fitness for duty, and disability medical assessments. She enjoys performing these assessments at our Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta clinic and collaborating with our team of medical and administrative professionals.
Dr Jade Jagoe-Banks completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia where she graduated with honours. Dr Jagoe-Banks received her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2015. She holds a DRANZCOG qualification, and the year she sat the practical examination, she was awarded the medal for the highest mark in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Jagoe-Banks also holds a Graduate Diploma in Medicine (Child and Adolescent Health).
Dr Jagoe-Banks has a keen interest in women's health and paediatrics, with a special interest in pregnancy. She offers shared care to her patients where she is able to look after their pregnancy until 36 weeks if eligible. In her spare time, Dr Jagoe-Banks is part of a community singing group, and she also enjoys spending time with her young family and her cocker spaniel.
Dr James Buck graduated from the University of Southhampton in the UK and has been a general practitioner for more than ten years, joining the clinic in 2013. His special areas of interest include chronic disease management, occupational health and paediatrics. James enjoys fishing, swimming and looking after his young family.
Dr James Moyle studied at the University of Western Australia where he graduated in 1992. He has been a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2002.
Dr Moyle has a strong passion for general practice and family medicine. He also has a particularly keen interest in men's health and lifestyle related health issues including preventative health practices, weight management and mental health.
Dr Moyle also enjoys playing golf, musical theatre, travel, gardening and spending valuable time with his family.

Dr Jennifer Sisson is the Chief Medical Officer for The Travel Doctor TMVC. She has an interest in global medical trends, travel medicine, infectious disease and occupational medicine. She oversees medical direction and strategy for our network of Travel Doctor clinics, assisting in providing travel and occupational medical advice to our clients. Dr Sisson is also the advisor for United Kingdom Oil and Gas medicals and Commercial Diving medicals for Sonic HealthPlus.
Dr Jennifer Sisson is the Chief Medical Officer of The Travel Doctor TMVC. After original training in General Practice, she has worked mainly in the areas of Travel, Occupational and Tropical Medicine for over 20 years.
Jennifer obtained a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, with distinction, from James Cook University. She is a fellow of both Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Australian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM), is the Dean and a Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine (ACTM) and Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. She also belongs to the International Society of Travel Medicine and ANZSOM. She is the chair elect for ISTM on the Travel for Work Interest Group and current chair of a committee developing Travel Medicine Guidelines for Australia and New Zealand.
Since February 2020 her work has mainly been in the area of COVID-19. In 2020 this was with The Travel Doctor/Sonic Health Plus as co-clinical lead of the Pandemic Team. This involved providing advice and support for internal national company responses to the pandemic, as well assisting many companies and employers navigate the requirements of the pandemic. In 2021 and early 2022 she worked in COVID-19 pandemic space with the Western Australia Department of Health.
Dr Sisson has been the main Travel Medicine advisor for Travel Doctor/Sonic Health Plus and she has designed the doctor training programme for the company for Travel Medicine, regularly trains doctors and clinical staff and regularly lectures at conferences within Australia and overseas.

Dr Jennifer Truong is a medical graduate from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle and has also completed the Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health. She has many years experience working in general surgery at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital. She is interested in all areas of general practice, with a special focus in paediatrics and women's health. When not working in general practice, she is at St John of God Hospital Subiaco assisting in gynaecology and hepatobiliary surgery.
Dr Jenny Nguyen graduated with BMedSci, MD from Griffith University (QLD), upon which she returned to Sydney to gain experience general practice and obtain her FRACGP in 2021. She developed an interest in Occupational Medicine and started her journey with Sonic Health Plus in Darwin, gaining broad experience in pre-employments, health surveillance and travel medicine. She has recently located back to Sydney to be closer to family.
Dr Jessica Maistry graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2000. She went on to complete a Masters in Occupational Medicine from the University of Otago, as well as a Masters in Public Health from the University of Newcastle. Her professional journey in Newcastle began with physician training in the Hunter Area Network in 2007, after which she specialised in Occupational Medicine. She currently serves as the Clinical Lead for NSW Marine Pilots.
Dr Maistry provides a comprehensive range of services, including the treatment and rehabilitation of injured workers, facilitating safe and effective return-to-work processes through a multidisciplinary approach and clear communication with all stakeholders. She has conducted exceptional Fitness for Duty assessments for several years, and her expertise extends to health surveillance for dust-related diseases in coal mining regions across NSW and Queensland. In addition to risk assessments for pre-employment health evaluations, health surveillance, and travel medicine advice, Dr Maistry is accredited as a Rail Authorised Health Professional, an AMSA medical examiner, and a Belgian medical examiner. A dedicated and compassionate physician, Dr Maistry is actively involved in advocating for improved health outcomes for all workers.
Dr John Crawford graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1980 and has been practicing general medicine for over 26 years. With a background in respiratory and cardiac medicine, he spent several years working at Slade Hospital in the UK. His special interests include dermatology, occupational health, and obesity management. Outside of medicine, John enjoys playing golf and has a keen interest in philosophy, philately, and renaissance art history.

Dr Kanaan is an Approved Medical Specialist (AMS) for both WorkSafe (VIC) & WorkCover (WA), authorising him to undertake impairment assessments of injured workers seeking to claim specified statutory entitlements or pursue common law action. He is also a Specialist Occupational Physician with a 17-year-experience in the field of occupational and environmental medicine, both in Australia and the UK, covering various industries: commercial drivers, rail workers, seafarers & coastal pilots, civil aviation, ship building, construction, production, engineering, mining, oil and gas, Commonwealth and local government (e.g. the Australian Antarctic Division, Department of Home Affairs, Services Australia and the UK National Health service).
Dr Kanaan is an accredited Health Professional (AHP) under the Australian National Standards for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers, a Medical Inspector of Seafarers (MIS) under the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) under the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), a Government Contracted Doctor (GCD) for Disability Medical Assessment, a Panel Physician for Visa Medical Assessment, a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) and a Medical Review Officer (MRO). He is also a Registered Medical Practitioner for InjuryNET Injury Management Program (Australia) and an accredited physician for the administration of yellow fever vaccination.
Dr Kanchana Sirisuriya is an occupational health doctor who has worked at Sonic HealthPlus Malaga since 2015. Dr Sirisuriya graduated with a degree in Medicine in 1995 and performs pre-employment medicals, work related injury management, health surveillance, and return to work programs for our patients.
Dr Keith Adam is a Senior Specialist Occupational Physician with Sonic HealthPlus and an Associate Professor of Occupational Medicine with the University of Queensland. Treating and rehabilitating injured workers since 1984, Dr Adam has extensive experience in determining what duties injured workers may be able to perform, and managing return to work programmes.
Dr Adam regularly consults as a Senior Medical Advisor to Yancoal, Curragh Qld Mining, and the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service. He was involved in the development of a health standard for Queensland Rail employees, which led to further involvement in the development of the first National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers in 2003 and 2004.
Dr Kiran Balasa has been with the Sonic HealthPlus Mandurah team since 2007. He is a general practitioner and occupational health doctor at our clinic and has a special interest in men's health, children's health, minor orthopaedic medicine, excisions, and skin cancers.
Dr Lili beth R. Walsh previously worked as a GP for nine years. This entailed such duties as performing pre-and-post employment medicals, assessing industrial injuries, and participating in workers' rehabilitation work programs. In 2018, Dr Lili moved to SHP performing various medical assessments and fitness for work duties for QR, coal mining companies and Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
Dr Lulu Ntloko was born and raised in South Africa and has worked in healthcare within Australia for the past 11 years. Previously working in Tasmania, the Wheatbelt and now the Pilbara, Dr Ntloko enjoys general practice as it exposes her to all fields of medicine. Dr Madhu Mahadevan commenced at Sonic Healthplus Guildford in 2019. Dr Adonis is experienced across a broad range of medicine including general practice, occupational medicine (specifically injury management) and sports medicine. Dr Megan Baker is a general practitioner with special interests in occupational, aviation and travel medicine. She attained her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Tasmania and served as a Medical Officer in the RAN while completing her Fellowship of General Practice (FRACGP). She is currently studying a Dip. Occupational and Environmental Medicine through Monash University and has completed additional training in travel medicine.
Dr Baker completes a wide range of pre-employment, health surveillance, corporate and retail travel assessments, and workplace injury management. She is a CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner, a Medical Review Officer and a Medical Inspector of Seafarers (AMSA).
Dr Slater holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney and has worked in various hospital roles in Cardiology, Surgery, Emergency, and Rehabilitation Medicine prior to undertaking further training in General Practice. He has an interest in public health and has completed a Master of International Public Health in 2019.
Dr Slater completed his specialist training in General Practice and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He worked as a General Practitioner in rural communities throughout New South Wales and Queensland before settling in Mackay where he has worked since early 2018. He has a particular interest in Occupational Medicine including workplace injury management and Health Surveillance. He is experienced in all aspects of general practice with particular interest in child and adolescent health, having completed a Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Milad Youkhana commenced with Sonic Health Plus Guildford in mid-2018. He graduated with a License in Human Medicine, MD, from the University of Aleppo/ Syria, and in 2012, completed the Australia Medical Council Certificate (AMC). Dr Youkhana has extensive general medicine experience, having joined the internal medicine training program in Syria. In 2013, he was granted a Diploma in Child Health from Sydney University.

Dr Cheah has worked as a medical adviser to Medibank Health Solutions and Sonic Health Plus, since 2010, advising on pre-employment medical assessment, injury treatment, and fitness for return to work and health assessment for visa purposes. She worked across a diverse range of industries, including local and national government, defence services, health services, police and corrective services, rail and mining industries, commercial licensing sectors etc.
She has wide experience in general medicine, having worked in the public hospital since 2002 to 2009, across most medical subspecialties including emergency medicine, general surgery and intensive care. She successfully completed the Basic Physicians Examination in 2006 prior to pursuing specialist training. However, Dr Cheah changed her interest pursuit to the area of Occupational Medicine in 2010. Dr Robert Blakesley is a general practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP). Dr Blakesley grew up in Hobart and graduated from the University of Tasmania. His special interests are occupational medicine, sports medicine, minor surgery and men's health. He is accredited to perform AMSA and Rail medicals, pre-employment medicals and workplace injury management.
Dr Robert Chandler is a medical graduate of the University of Western Australia. His postgraduate studies include Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GP, Diploma of Obstetrics RCOG, and Master of Science (Gerontology) at Curtin University. He has worked as a solo rural general practitioner on the Darling Downs - QLD for 8 years, as a neurosurgical assistant at SJOG Hospital Subiaco, and in areas of rehabilitation and aged care within WA in both hospital and community settings.

Dr Ross Haston has been with the Joondalup clinic since emigrating from Scotland in February 2012. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2004 and pursued further studies primarily in orthopaedics and plastic surgery, earning his MRCS in 2007. Dr Haston's particular interests within general practice include skin cancer screening, minor procedures, orthopaedics, and occupational health. Outside of work and spending quality time with his young family, Ross enjoys participating in CrossFit, playing soccer, and watching AFL and tennis.
Dr Kumar graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2001, and has since worked in a number of fields including psychiatry, paediatrics, emergency and surgery. She has spent several months working at a remote hospital in Papua New Guinea and also has extensive experience in clinical trial medicine and occupational health.
Dr Kumar is interested in all aspects of health assessment and injury management, and takes a team approach to management of clinical issues.
Dr Shaun Sinclair graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2009. He has worked as a junior medical officer at SCGH and PMH and spent six months in emergency medicine in country NSW. Dr Sinclair completed his general practice training and attained fellowship in 2015, and he also holds a diploma in children's health. He has a particular focus on men's health and paediatric medicine. Outside of his professional life, Shaun enjoys good food and wine, follows multiple sports including AFL, and loves spending time with his family and two young children.
Dr Sonia Singh has worked with our team since 2012. Dr Sonia Singh has a strong interest in general medicine, minor procedures, and minor skin excisions. Dr Singh has received advanced training and is skilled in all aspects of women's health including implanon device insertion, antenatal health and general management of women's health and wellbeing.
Dr Sophie Hopkins has worked at our clinic for over seven years. Dr Hopkins is a general practice doctor and an occupational health doctor with a strong interest in chronic disease management, women's health, family medicine, minor trauma and minor skin excisions.
Dr Sruthi joined Sonic Healthplus Canberra in 2019. Originally from India, she worked as a Respiratory Physician in Bangalore before moving to Australia in 2013 along with her family.
In Australia, Dr Sruthi worked for a year at the Launceston General Hospital and then moved to Melbourne. She worked for a year as a Panel physician at Bupa Medical Visa services prior to moving
to Canberra. Since then she has developed interest in Occupational medicine while working at Sonic Healthplus and wishes to pursue further training in General practice/Occupational Medicine.

Dr Stephanie van der Moezel obtained her medical degree from the University of Western Australia in 2013. She then spent her resident years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus gathering experience in all areas of medicine. A doctor and medical advisor during the week and a steam train driver on weekends, Sonic HealthPlus Victoria Regional Medical Officer, Dr Stuart Turnbull, is dedicated to advancing railway health. Although he had no initial grand plans to ‘save the world', Dr Turnbull now spends his days shaping National Australian Standards for railway worker health assessments and overseeing the daily safety of thousands of railway workers.
Dr Stuart Turnbull graduated MB, BS, BMedSc from Monash University. Dr Turnbull spent several years working in various positions at Western Hospital, gaining experience in a range of disciplines. He took up a medical advisor position at the Victorian Public Transport Corporation before becoming Chief Medical Officer in 1994. After gaining a GDOEH from Monash, Dr Turnbull worked as a medical advisor in many industries although his main areas of expertise are in the rail and maritime sectors.
Dr Turnbull is presently Chief Medical Officer for Metro Trains Melbourne and Vline and also advises other rail operators on the health and wellbeing of their workers. He has been involved in the development of the NTC National Medical Standards for Rail Safety Workers and is a delegate to the UIMC. He is also an MRO, offering advice on drug testing.
Dr Tim Knowles first started with Sonic HealthPlus in January 2008 and is a part time occupational health doctor, completing a range of occupation health medicals as well as injury management at our Bunbury clinic. He spends the rest of his time as a general practitioner and occupation health doctor at the Sonic HealthPlus Mandurah clinic. As a senior Doctor with Sonic HealthPlus, Dr Knowles brings extensive knowledge and support to the team.
Dr Ko studied medicine at Monash University, graduating in 2016. She has worked in hospitals across Victoria in areas such as specialty medicines, general medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. Dr Ko also has experience as a panel physician, performing medical assessments to Australian visa applicants.
Dr Ko is passionate about the importance of workplace health and aims to work collaboratively with her patients to ensure they remain fit for work for as long as possible. She has a particular interest in employment medicals, health surveillance, injury management and prevention.
Dr Siddiqui joined Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone in January 2018, having worked in General Practice for over 13 years. Dr Siddiqui holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (2005) and Master's Degree in Public health (2010). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2015).
Dr Siddiqui has worked across Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland since arriving from Africa in 2013. His areas of special interest are occupational health, skin cancer treatment, mental health and emergency medicine.
Dr Li graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2002. She gained her surgical experience working in cardiac surgery and completed basic surgical training under The Royal Australasian Collage of Surgeons in 2006.
While searching for a work-life balance, Dr Li developed an interest in occupational medicine. She is a member of The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM) and has been a CPD committee member of ANZSOM since 2012. Dr Li is a strong believer in the health benefits of work. Her areas of interest in occupational medicine are injury management, fitness for duties assessment and worksite visits. Dr Li also has a particular interest in assessing return to work in particular return to work post-surgery.
Dr Ye Myat Ko commenced his journey in the field of medicine at Yangon, Myanmar (formerly Burma). In pursuit of advanced education, he relocated to Australia in 2010 for postgraduate studies. Dr Ko's commitment to rural healthcare led him to Gilgandra, NSW, in 2016 where he provided comprehensive general practice care, culminating in his attainment of the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.
In early 2024, after nearly a decade of gaining experience in both hospital and general practice settings, Dr Ko joined the team at Sonic HealthPlus. His professional interests lie in the prevention and early intervention of chronic medical conditions, underscoring his belief in the profound impact of meaningful work on individual health. He is interested in pre-employment health assessments, disability medical assessments, health surveillance programs, skin cancer checks, and workplace injury management. Gillian Grills is our on-site registered nurse. Greg Hutchinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Sonic HealthPlus and Deputy CEO of Sonic Clinical Services.
Greg started his career in the healthcare industry after graduating with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy in 1989 and working to establish a private chain of clinics throughout Australia.
He was appointed CEO of Prime Health Group in 2007 and charted the company's growth from six clinics in Perth to a national network of occupational medicine and general practice offerings.
He oversaw a major merger in 2010 to create the company that subsequently became known as Sonic HealthPlus, the largest provider of occupational and community medical services in Australia, with a workforce of over 1100 employees and contractors operating across metropolitan, regional and remote locations in all states and territories.
Hanna Choukair completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2015 at the University of Technology Sydney. She has always had a passion to work in the medical field. Hanna joined Sonic Health Plus in 2019 as a Medical Screener where her main duties are to perform pre-employment medicals. Hanna is a self-motivated individual who enjoys developing new skills and interacting with her colleagues at Guildford.
Hannah graduated from the University of Tasmania as an exercise scientist in 2023 after completing a bachelor degree in exercise and sport science. She conducts musculoskeletal and fitness testing at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart. She has a passion for anything health, exercise and sports-related and is always looking for ways to further her knowledge and skills in this area. In early 2024, Hannah completed training in screening, including spirometry, drug and alcohol testing, and hearing assessment; she assists in this area at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart.

Jackson Belvie joined Sonic HealthPlus in late-2021. Arun graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne in 2009. Over the past seven years, he has gained invaluable experience working in Australia and overseas in roles at Michigan State University, soccer, AFL and squash competitions in Melbourne and in Occupational Health.
With extensive experience in the Goldfields region, she has held long-term roles at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus - WACHS Goldfields Mental Health Service in project management, administration, and quality improvement. She also worked with the Goldfields Midwest Medicare Local/Esperance GP Network, focusing on community needs in a business management capacity.
Velicia holds a Diploma in Business & Management and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources.
Virginia joined Sonic HealthPlus almost six years ago after working four years previously in an Occupational Health clinic bringing with her an extensive knowledge of workplace injury management and employment medicals. Virginia is a qualified medical screener and drug and alcohol tester. She started in administration and moved up to become Practice Manager in 2018. She focuses on all aspects of the clinic from doctors to physiotherapists to screeners to administration staff stepping up to help out when needed. Virginia and the team at Dandenong have a strong knowledge of all services provided and are happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Yvonne Started with Sonic HeathPlus in January 2017. She graduated in 2014 from Murdoch University with a Degree in Animal Science. She also completed her nursing diploma in 2008 in Singapore. Her role includes pre-employment health checks and drug and alcohol testing. She enjoys the friendly and caring work environment and the ability to meet interesting people every day as well as the great work/life balance.
