Albert Grech

A notarial firm operating for the last 13 years from an office in the heart of Birkirkara. Albert is the firm's father figure and handles the firm's outside administration work. In particular, Albert is the main contact between the firm and various Government entities including the Tax Department, the Public Registry and the Courts of Malta. Albert has been handling the administrative side of the firm since the office's inception and prior to his involvement within the firm, he spent a full career working in various managerial roles within the Water Services Department.

Annalise Briguglio

Annalise joined the firm in 2021 as an office administrator. She handles the day-to-day administration of the firm, and handles client inquries and correspondence. Annalise works closely with the members of the firm in order to streamline processes, maximise efficiency, and foster professional relationships within the organisation. Annalise previously worked as an office administrator with a leading estate agency firm for four years and had also obtained prior experience in another office. Annalise obtained a Diploma in Marketing from the European Institute of Education (EIE) in the year 2013.

Celine Micallef

Job Titles:

Celine holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) after having graduated in 2023 from the University of Malta and is currently reading for a Master of Notarial Studies. She intends to sit for the Notarial warrant exam in the future. During her Bachelor's degree, she focused her dissertation on the controversial expropriation process in Malta and remedies awarded, after submitting the term paper entitled "An analysis of human rights jurisprudence on Maltese expropriation law with a particular focus on the remedies awarded to the applicants". Celine joined the firm in 2022 and her day-to-day roles include drafting deeds of loan, sale and other contracts, preparing post-deed registrations and assisting with Land Registry procedures. Celine is fluent in Maltese and English.

Dr Tamika Agius

Tamika holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Notarial Studies from the University of Malta after having graduated in the years 2021 and 2022 respectively. During her Bachelor's degree, she focused her dissertation on rent regulation in Malta in light of newly enacted rent laws after submitting the term paper entitled "An understanding of Act XXVIII of 2019 in a critical and comparative perspective", whilst her Masters degree study focused on post-deed registrations. She is set to sit for the Notarial warrant exam in the near future. Tamika joined the firm in 2018 where she has since gained huge exposure in all the firm's dealings and is well-versed in all aspects of the notarial profession including conveyancing, examination of title procedure, post-deed registrations, succession, Land Registry and due diligence procedures. In recent years, she has also focused on matters relating to ground-rent and the redemption thereof.

Dr Valentina Chircop Troisi

Valentina graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2019 after having submitted her dissertation ‘Protection of Juveniles in Criminal Proceedings in Malta. The Way Forward'. She then graduated with a Master of Notarial Studies in 2020 and is 2023 she was conferred with the warrant to practice as a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths. In 2017, Valentina initiated her legal practice with a prominent law firm in Malta, which mainly revolved around litigation, family law matters and employment and industrial relations, where she familiarised herself with and became well-accustomed to court procedures. She decided to follow the notarial stream in 2019 and joined the firm as a notarial trainee, where she obtained first-hand practice of the office dynamics. Valentina has recently become an associate of the firm and assists in diverse aspects of the notarial profession from property conveyancing, to succession, examination of title, registration of contracts, land registrations and customer due diligence, while always striving to address clients' needs in the best possible manner by ensuring to provide the client with a personalised and guided experience. She truly believes that if one loves what one does, one will undoubtedly be successful. Valentina is fluent in Maltese, English, Italian and has a good understanding of French.

Martin Grech B.Accty

Martin graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1996 and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) Degree in 1998. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a practicing certificate in auditing and a Fellow Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants (FIA). After gaining accounting and auditing experience within a large audit firm, Martin moved into industry occupying various senior key management positions. Martin has 20 years' experience in finance, general management, project management, marketing, procurement and operations. The last position held was of Group Chief Financial & Commercial Officer of a large manufacturing group of companies. Throughout his employment in industry, Martin was responsible for various restructuring and rebranding exercises, formation of new departments within the group structure, and multi-million capital investment projects. During 2021, Martin has joined James Grech & Associates to take over the financial, fiscal, management and administrative side of the business. Using his vast multi-disciplinary experiences, Martin also offers accounting, financial and management consultancy services to a different portfolio of clients.
