Mr. M F Perera

After schooling at St Joseph's College, Colombo in science related subjects and two years technical training in electrical and electronics. Michael F Perera (born in 1944) joined a Trading Company, W D Carolis Ltd in 1970. He had his initial training in the Marketing Department, food processing department and thereafter initiated many innovations in the canning and flexible packing industry. He also acted as advisor to many industries during the period from 1970 to 1980. Mr.Perera assisted to introduce the triple laminate and metalized polyester film. In 1981, he joined the Liason Office of C Melchers & Company in Colombo as Sales Executive and rose rapidly to the position of Sales Manager in 1983. C Melchers & Co Liason office was changed in 1990 to a branch office under the name C MC Engineering Export GmbH and he was appointed as General Manager. Mr. M F Perera is a member of the UK Institute of Packaging and a Past President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging. He has over 45 years of experience in the field of packaging.

Nishan Perera

After schooling at Royal College Colombo, graduated from University of Peradeniya (born in 1971) began his carrier at CMC in 1998 and now he is the CEO of CMC. He has double masters degrees in the fields of Food Science & Technology and Business Administration. He plays an active role in processing and packaging industries by holding post of Vice President of Sri Lanka Food Processors Association as well as Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging. Also, he is serving as Deputy president of Association of Packaging Consultants. A part time lecturer of Food Packing in various institutions.
