Our business name, Bottom Feeder Emporium, was actually was my daughter's idea. She saw an interview with the founder of OVERSTOCK. He told the interviewer that they were told to be sharks in business practice. He found his business not on the idea of being a shark, but on being a bottom feeder feeding on the left over of other companies, who had gone out of business or needed to liquidate stocks. It seemed to me a better way to do business, after all the bottom feeders always survive upheavals when the sharks frequently do not survive...
