Anthony Recine is a Managing Director at BHMS. As a member of the firm's investment team, Anthony leads deal execution initiatives and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining BHMS, Anthony was a Vice President at Guard Hill Holdings ("GHH"), a closely-held private equity firm focused on the manufacturing sector. At GHH, Anthony provided oversight to the firm's portfolio companies while also leading the firm's efforts in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. Prior to joining GHH, Anthony served as an Associate at Franklin Hamilton, an investment banking firm focused on sell-side advisory in middle market M&A transactions. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fordham University and a Master of Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Colin Knox

Colin Knox is a Vice President at BHMS. As a member of the of the firm's investment team, Colin is responsible for deal execution initiatives and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining BHMS, Colin spent time in private equity investing across a range of industries, including distribution, healthcare, value-added manufacturing, and business / consumer services, at Clearview Capital and Arlon Group. Most recently, Colin served as a Vice President in the Event Driven Strategies group at Jefferies. Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Classics from Union College.

David Hansen - Managing Director

David Hansen is a Managing Director at BHMS. As a member of the firm's investment team, David leads deal execution initiatives and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining BHMS, David was a partner at Cruiser Capital, a hedge fund that frequently partners with industry executives to enhance the value of businesses that have strategic value, but are under-earning their potential. Prior to Cruiser, David worked at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management ("PSAM"), an event focused hedge fund where he was a generalist on the Special Situations team. At PSAM, David focused on fundamental, value-oriented opportunities with potential catalysts to improve a company's valuation. David began his career at Morgan Stanley where he spent nearly 6 years in various roles including: Vice President in MS Credit Partners, Associate in Morgan Stanley Principal Investments and Analyst in the Investment Banking Global Energy Group. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.

Jeffrey Michael

Jeffrey Michael is a Principal at BHMS. As a member of the firm's business development team, Jeffrey originates investment opportunities and works closely with founders and management teams on their growth initiatives. Justin Gaines - Managing Director

Justin Gaines is a Managing Director at BHMS. Justin leads the firm's investor relations efforts and is involved in a range of business development and operational initiatives for both BHMS and its portfolio companies. Prior to joining BHMS, Justin co-founded a multi-family office in New York City where he was integral to the firm's investment, compliance and business development efforts. Justin began his career as an investment strategist at Neuberger Berman. In his role at Neuberger Berman, Justin worked closely with individuals, families and institutions on all aspects of investment policy and portfolio implementation. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.

Kevin Angelis - CEO, Founder

Kevin Angelis is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BHMS. Kevin leads the firm's investing initiatives and works closely with founders and business owners to develop preeminent platforms. Prior to co-founding BHMS in 2010, Kevin worked for Morgan Stanley investing in both distressed debt and private equity transactions. In his last role at Morgan Stanley, Kevin was an Executive Director in the Special Situations Group ("SSGR") where he primarily worked with distressed portfolio companies. Prior to SSGR, Kevin invested over $425 million in global private equity and venture capital as part of Morgan Stanley Principal Investments ("MSPI"), a $3 billion on balance sheet investing effort. At MSPI, Kevin led the North American Energy investing practice and served as a Board of Directors member for portfolio companies. Prior to MSPI, Kevin focused on middle market buyout and mezzanine opportunities at The Carlyle Group and American Capital. Kevin began his career in the Consumer and Retail investment banking practice at Merrill Lynch. Kevin graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Lafayette College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics & Business and Government & Law.

Matthew Mendenhall

Matthew Mendenhall is a Vice President at BHMS. As a member of the firm's investment team, Matthew is responsible for deal execution initiatives and portfolio management activities. At TAG, Nicholas gained experience in business valuation and supported both sell-side and buy-side transactions. Robert Salamon - CEO, Founder

Robert Salamon is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BHMS. Robert leads the firm's investing initiatives and works closely with founders and business owners to develop preeminent platforms. Prior to co-founding BHMS in 2010, Robert worked at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. ("KKR") where he co-managed a $1.25 billion opportunistic value portfolio. At KKR, Robert sourced and invested in both public debt and equity using a long-term, concentrated, private equity approach to the public markets. Robert was a generalist with responsibility for all industries other than Financials. Prior to KKR, Robert worked as an investment banker at JPMorgan. In his last role at JPMorgan, Robert worked in the Capital Structure Advisory and Solutions ("CSAS") practice - a cross product, cross industry group staffed primarily with group heads. In CSAS, Robert was responsible for the M&A and corporate finance vertical where he led several highly structured transactions and developed new financial products. Prior to CSAS, Robert worked in the Telecom, Media and Technology practice. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors from Yeshiva University.
