I originally qualified in the Integrative approach to counselling. This provided me with a broad knowledge base and a variety of ways of working with my clients. I then enrolled on a course at Edinburgh University and graduated with Distinction in my Counselling degree. This training has enabled me to understand at a deeper level, psychodynamic theory and the values of the person- centred approach. I have also completed additional training in Couple Counselling... I am a Senior Accredited Member of BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society. I subscribe to CCYP, an organisation for practitioners who are Involved in Counselling Children and Young People and I belong to the AIP an Association of Independent Practitioners and SAPC which Is the Scottish Association of Psychodynamic Counsellors...
