ADAM SPECTOR FUND

We have donated to the Adam Spector Fund for Hodgkin's Research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia under the leadership of Dr. Richard Aplenc. Dr. Kim Nichols is the principal investigator for the study that we are helping to fund. Her laboratory is interested in understanding the host genetic factors that protect against infection with Epstein Barr virus (EBV), a virus associated with the development of several human diseases, including Hodgkin's lymphoma. These dedicated clinician researchers strive to improve the treatment and outcome of patients with Hodgkin's... Adam knew that he was dying and continued to be very brave and courageous. He expressed concerns for those that he left behind and he had one final request. Adam wanted a fund set up for Hodgkins research. He knew that there were not enough options out there for those that had refractory Hodgkins like himself. A fund was immediately set up at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and it is called The Adam Spector Fund for Hodgkins..
