The Virginia Kitchen is Herndon's Best Hometown Diner. We're known for our great diner food and friendly service, and have been family owned and operated since 1973... We ask for your continued patience as we navigate the supply and demand issues that are effecting us all. Food and labor costs continue to skyrocket, and product availability is inconsistent. These challenges make operating a small business increasingly more challenging. We do our best to provide quality food and service. We staff our restaurant with friendly, efficient people who genuinely enjoy serving the community. The labor market is very tight, and finding additional staff to meet our needs is very difficult. It has opened up weekend opportunities for young people to learn the business and all of the life skills that working in a restaurant can teach them. We have a great group!
