The Strayer Insurance Agency was founded in 1941 by Joseph Strayer in Bellevue, Ohio. Over the years, Bellevue proved to be a great center from which the Strayers could expand their business. Meanwhile, at about the same time that Joseph's son, Gary, entered the family insurance agency, Brent Gardner was beginning his insurance career under the tutelage of his great uncle, Jack Gardner, who had started an agency of his own in 1934...
