SAVE THE MILE

The Save the Mile website was launched in 2008 by a group of Milwaukee area race fans and business owners who were strongly opposed to the idea that it was time for the State of Wisconsin to "cut its losses" and close the Milwaukee Mile. Plans at the time called for the track to be demolished and the property redeveloped for other purposes... Save the Mile is designed to bring attention to the legendary Milwaukee Mile and give race fans the opportunity to show their support for the historic track.
