I'm a parent, a musician since age 10, and a former full-time professional recording and performing drummer. Many years ago I started RhythmicLee Music Studios and guided the company's growth into a well-respected collective of talented, experienced music teachers. We serve the Southern California area only. Many new students are referred by satisfied, existing students... At RhythmicLee Music Studios we teach this modern approach to drumming, starting with basic music notation, skill- and confidence-building warm-ups, playing beats that fit 80% of popular songs, and learning to play specific songs (co-chosen by student and teacher). These songs are often the ones students choose to perform during our annual music recitals called Students-on-Stage Shows.
