Bob Brewer

Bob brings over 30 years of advertising and marketing experience to Braumiller Law Group, as well as Braumiller Consulting. He is responsible for the marketing of the firms. Career Highlights After graduating from college, Bob began his marketing career with U.S. Steel, Oilwell Division in Dallas, and after (5) years, left and started his own advertising business called R.D. Brewer & Associates. Adapting to industry trends, Bob moved into the field of digital advertising, and was recruited by Verizon, Superpages.com. Within two years, he then took a position with Sabre Corporation as Director of Sales for Virtuallythere.com, the sister site to Travelocity.com. After 3 years with Sabre, Bob joined Braumiller Law Group in 2002 and began assisting the firm with its marketing efforts. Leadership Bob was the first person to be promoted to the Management Associates Program within U.S. Steel Oilwell Division who wasn't directly recruited from a major engineering school in the U.S. He was also the youngest manager of his own department within the first two years of joining U.S. Steel. While at Verizon Bob was responsible for the introduction of Superpages.com to the New York area advertisers and their agencies, helping build the brand from the ground up. When at virtuallythere.com, Bob was one of a team of (5) key managers who wrote the blue print for the website, and was responsible for bringing in the first major accounts prior to hiring his sales team.

Brad Menard - VP

In these roles, he gained extensive insight into Customs programs such as Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), Importer Self-Assessment (ISA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT). His hands-on experience with other government agencies such as Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Department of Transportation (DOT) and US Fish and Wildlife (FWS) including the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) proves invaluable for clients trading in affected products. She enjoys being an entrepreneur, including the technical challenges that come with working in a continuously innovating industry. With a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a Masters Degree in Engineering Science, Cecilia began her career with General Motors. She worked primarily at GM facilities in Montreal, Quebec and GM's Technical headquarters in Detroit, MI, including stints overseas at the Opel and Delphi plants in Frankfurt, Germany and Paris, France. After having worked her way to Senior Lead Design Engineer, she made a career change into the IT industry.

Craig McClure

Craig McClure's commitment to proactive compliance focused on risk mitigation can be seen throughout his 40+ year career. Craig has extensive international trade compliance and logistics experience as an importer/exporter, most recently serving as the Director of International Trade Compliance for a Japan-based manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment. He is adept at responding to changes in the global landscape, quickly revising policies and enhancing procedures such as the U.S.'s revised stance and increased duties on China and other international players. Craig's hands-on experience includes successfully navigating a U.S. Customs Compliance Assessment Team ("CAT") Audit. As part of the detailed process, he identified gaps in the company's internal controls, developed a compliance improvement plan, and implemented the plan revisions to elevate the organization's global compliance. Additionally, Craig has conducted internal compliance audits and supported external audits. Craig is well-versed in the complexities of complying with the China military End User/End Use regulations ("MEU"). Craig spearheaded the company's commitment to supply chain security as one of the first importers to apply and enroll in CTPAT. Additionally, he supported foreign site validations for U.S.-based customers and maintained the firm's CTPAT status through three re-validations. His dedication to proactive compliance continued by spearheading participation in the Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) program and managing the recent transition to the CTPAT Trade Compliance trusted trader program. Craig participated in Merger & Acquisition (M&A) and divestiture activities related to trade compliance during his career. These activities included critical business continuity steps such as transferring existing BIS export licenses between parties. He also conducted post-closing investigations of the newly acquired company's compliance with U.S. export and import regulations. In addition, Craig led submissions of voluntary self-disclosures (VSDs) with agencies, including the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). Craig values education and enjoys sharing his knowledge. He has provided instructor-led and web-based training on import/export compliance, deemed exports, and INCOTERMS. Dennis Farrell

Dennis brings over 30 years of operational, management and consulting experience in Global Trade Compliance and Supply Chain Management to BCG clients. He has held Trade Compliance and operational positions at many high technology and consulting companies, including Vastera/JPMorgan Export Consulting, Agilent Technologies and Compaq Computers/Digital Equipment Corporation. Dennis is also an experienced export practitioner and has a broad working knowledge of the US EAR, ITAR and OFAC regulations as well as the export regulations of many non-US countries. Dennis was the Director of Global Trade Compliance for Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a US-based $5 Billion semiconductor company, for over 10 years. In this role, he was responsible for legal/regulatory compliance for all of ADI's export and import transactions on a global basis - including physical product shipments, transfers of technology across international borders, deemed exports and intangible exports, such as electronic postings of software products and/or technical data on public and internal ADI web sites. His areas of expertise include: Dennis is a member of the Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee (RPTAC), which is one of many advisory committees operated by the US Bureau of Industry and Security, a federal agency who is responsible for administering US export policy under the US EAR. He is also an active member of the International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA), a former member of the Semiconductor Industry Assn. (SIA) Export Compliance Committee and he is on the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Export Center's "Compliance Alliance." Dennis has been a speaker at a number of trade compliance conferences in the USA and internationally over the past 10-15 years. Over a three-year period, Dennis developed and implemented a corporate-wide export compliance internal controls program for a high-tech company which grew from $3 to $5B. Jeremy Fretwell

An energetic, detail-oriented supply chain professional, Jeremy's 11-year career encompasses a broad range of imports and exports across multiple industries. His passion for continuous improvement and client success is evident in all facets of his work. Jeremy excels at auditing, influencing and motivating strategic trade partners. Jeremy's career spans direct importer and exporter, FTZ operations and administration, software development and selection and vendor oversight and training. He has a comprehensive understanding of Foreign Trade Zones, Customs brokerage, government policies, regulatory requirements, international transportation, logistics and physical distribution. Joe Cortez

A 35-year veteran of the U.S. Census Bureau, Joe's expansive knowledge of cross-agency matters is a windfall to Braumiller Consulting clients. Joe served as the former International Trade Ombudsman and Chief for the Regulations, Outreach, and Education Branch with the United States Census Bureau's International Trade Management Division. Joe's deep regulatory knowledge stems from his years of working on regulatory matters pertaining to the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), the collection of the Electronic Export Information, Voluntary Self Disclosures, and the U.S. CBP penalty mitigation guidelines. Joe led the team responsible for writing, implementing and interpreting the FTR. As a result of his efforts, Joe received the Silver Medal Award, a prestigious honor bestowed on an individual by the Department of Commerce, and the Census Bureau's Director's Award for Innovation. At the Census Bureau, Joe led a cross agency team that worked with the pipeline industry to develop reporting conventions for exports of natural gas via pipeline. Joe represented the Census Bureau at numerous trade conferences, and was involved with the International Trade Data Systems, a partnership of government agencies committed to the modernization and facilitation of International Trade. He also worked on resolving export issues related to ATA Carnets, Foreign Trade Zones, and mitigating export penalties. Joe was instrumental in comment solicitation and analysis supporting efforts to reduce the reporting burden required by the U.S. Export Enforcement and Statistical agencies and to clarify export regulations. He also worked on system enhancements of the Automated Export System (AES) and the AESDirect. These systems are used by the industry to report their export shipments through the Census Bureau. Joe's career with the U.S. Census Bureau included working with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of State, the Bureau of Industry and Security, and other U.S. Federal Export Regulatory Agencies, to assist them with their data collection requirements. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas and conducted his graduate studies at North Texas State University, George Washington University, and has a Master of Arts in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.

Kim Martin

Kim Martin, a former Import Specialist for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for almost 10 years, is knowledgeable in a myriad of Customs requirements and regulations including tariff classification, Anti-dumping and Countervailing (ADD/CVD), Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and other government agency requirements. While at CBP, she was responsible for verifying commercial invoice descriptions against the classifications declared, entered value, applicability of ADD/CVD and FTA's. Kim sat for the Customs Broker's License Exam in October 2013 and received her Broker's License in February 2014. She has worked in the brokerage industry for 11 years since leaving U.S. Customs. Kim's responsibilities include reviewing, auditing and processing entry documents. This includes transmission into the Automated Broker Interface, verifying results, addressing any possible discrepancies, ensuring entries are released and paid via Automated Clearing House, and if required, manual submission to Customs. Kim is resourceful, dedicated, and enjoys working on import-related matters. Passionate about classification, her favorite task, she is eager to mentor others in proper application of the General Rules of Interpretation. After 36 years of service with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Sue-Ann Linnemann now works as a Trade Advisor for Braumiller Consulting Group. Her contacts within that government agency and her in-depth knowledge of its processes and practices frequently result in outstanding results for the firm's clients. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Sue-Ann began her career with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Nogales, Arizona, and progressed through several positions including Import Specialist, Field National Import Specialist, and Supervisory Import Specialist. She was promoted to Dallas as Assistant District Director in 1993, which coincided with the passage of the NAFTA and Customs Modernization Act regulations. Sue-Ann assumed a leadership role in educating the public about this new legislation and its various provisions. She spoke on these topics throughout North Texas and at several national conferences held by MexCon and Economist Magazine, among others. Sue-Ann transferred to the Office of International Trade in 1998 and was instrumental in the development of, first, the Information Technology Strategic Plans and, then, the Agriculture Strategic Plans for the agency. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in developing national trade policies and conducting trade analysis. In 2005, she was named the Assistant Port Director for the Area Port of Dallas, which includes Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. In this capacity, she was very active in the development of new User Fee Airports and Foreign-Trade Zones. LEADERSHIP Sue-Ann is a past president of the Dallas chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade. She has also written articles for industry magazines and was featured in an issue of the Journal of Commerce highlighting women in international trade. She has been a distinguished speaker at a wide range of events for businesses, professional organizations and industry associations, as well as participating in training programs on topics including NAFTA, C-TPAT, Foreign-Trade Zones, classification and valuation.

Tina Seale

She manages all of Trade Compliance and has served as an Empowered Official. A born auditor, Tina conducts audits across throughout the compliance realm including imports, exports, OFAC, FCPA, Electronic Export Information fillings (EEI), supporting documentation, etc. During audits, she employs her vast knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the U.S. Census Bureau's Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and hands-on experience in Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) product classifications, licensing determination as well as exceptions/exemption determination. Her management experience includes developing, training and mentoring team members as well as oversight of operational functions. Tina enjoys developing compliance programs, designing and implementing automated SAP solutions for trade compliance, writing procedures and corporate trade compliance policies to include OFAC, FCPA and anti-boycott regulations Tina enjoys assisting clients in the development of audit standards, KPIs and facility management controls for industry security. She also supports clients in the creation or review of policies and procedures and determining Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications. Tina graduated Magna Cum Laude holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas - Houston, Texas. She served as the Treasurer for the Houston Chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) and is very active in the international trade community. Tracey Loyd

Tracey joined Braumiller Law Group, PLLC in early 2014 as a Legal Assistant. Having spent over twenty years in the IT industry as a Network Engineer has proven to be a valuable asset for Tracey. Her analytical way thinking along with her impeccable organizational skills are just some of the strengths that Tracey exemplifies. Her responsibilities include providing support and assistance to Founding Partner, Adrienne Braumiller and other attorneys with the preparation and filing of submissions to various governmental agencies (such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Court of International Trade, just to name a few). Additionally, Tracey is also responsible for the preparation of retention agreements and other contractual documentation; maintaining the firm's accounting system with month-end invoicing to our clients; as well as the oversight of all daily operations and requests throughout the course of business. Her time management skills are unsurpassed insofar that given her typical workload, she still manages to find the time to assist others in whatever capacity is needed. Whether it's working collectively with the VP of Marketing for updates to our website(s) and email blasts, performing routine checks & balances with our CPA or supporting our IT Consultants with identifying/resolving technological issues, she always makes it a point to go that ‘extra mile' with everything she does, and it shows. In early 2017, Tracey pursued and received her certification in Paralegal Studies making her even more valuable to the attorneys and counsel for which she supports. In June 2019, she was admitted to the State Bar of Texas - Paralegal Division (a very proud moment for her). Only 13% of Paralegals in the State of Texas are accepted - Congrats Tracey! Then in March 2022, she was admitted to the American Bar Association.
