The aviation division of Southern Energy Company (Pty) Ltd, (SEC Aviation), secured the rights to supply Shell aviation products to parts of the Southern African market in 2008 when Shell decided to rationalize its downstream aviation business. SEC has since also bought the total aviation fuel interests of Shell Namibia. SEC is an accredited reseller of aviation fuel, both Avgas 100LL and Jet A1, supplying fuel either in bulk or a minimum order of 100 drums through its operations in South Africa as well as Namibia. SEC, which also has export rights, has successfully exported both JetA1 and Avgas to a number of African as well as Malaysian countries...
