Barry Harrigan - Founder

Barry is a global entrepreneur-investor focused on data, demand generation, and analytics businesses. Prior to co-founding DemandScience and PureB2B, Barry founded, operated and sold businesses that focused on demand generation, data, analytics and digital targeting. Barry's current focus is on global expansion strategies and investments targeting Asia/Pacific and Europe. Barry's extensive background in the data, analytics, and demand generation markets gives him a unique perspective to shape the vision for DemandScience.

Bill Harrigan - Chief Strategy Officer

Bill is a senior mergers and acquisitions professional with an extensive background in financial services, real estate and growth oriented, middle market investments. Bill brings significant experience to DemandScience across corporate development, debt and equity financing, and strategic planning, and execution. Mr. Harrigan has been an advisor to DemandScience since 2017. Prior positions include Managing Principal of Bateleur Advisors LLC, a private investment and advisory platform. Prior to founding Bateleur, Mr. Harrigan was an investment professional at Aquiline Capital Partners. Bill is a graduate of Bucknell University and received his MS in Real Estate, with distinction, from New York University.

Brian Cohen - CFO

Brian is a Boston-based financial and operational executive with a strong track record for building and managing high-growth, rapidly expanding global technology businesses. His 30-year career spans both publicly traded and privately held technology and SaaS companies and includes leadership across finance and accounting, corporate strategy, investor relations and more. Brian joins DemandScience from Logz.io, provider of an intelligent scalable machine data analytics platform, where he was CFO. Previously, Brian was at BitSight Technologies and DigitalOcean.

John Milton - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

For 25 years, John has overseen legal affairs for an extensive set of rapidly growing, innovative, and successful technology organizations, including venture capital, PE-backed, and public companies. Prior to joining DemandScience, John was General Counsel at Fuze and Markforged, and held senior legal positions at Imprivata, EqualLogic, and Symantec.

Mark DePalma - CTO

Mark is a technology executive and leader with deep experience in the B2B data and demand generation industry. He specializes in complex software development in cloud and distributed cross-platform environments and has built and directed engineering teams and organizations at startups, mid-sized and global multinational corporations. Mark joins DemandScience from Spiceworks Ziff Davis, where he served as Chief Data Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Mark was Chief Technology Officer at Aberdeen, and Vice President of Engineering at The Big Willow Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from The University of Connecticut and a master's degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Melissa Chang - Founder

A respected expert and pioneer in demand generation, data driven strategies, and the development of web applications, Melissa has an impressive track record of delivering online innovations and leading successful web application development. She has more than a decade of in-the-trenches experience in the industry, including executive leadership positions at Ziff Davis, Connexus Media, IDG, as well as former Chairman of the board of DemandScience. Throughout her career, Melissa has taken an approach that balances team leadership with hands-on execution, a formula that has served her and her extended team well.

Omar Hussain

Omar is a product-focused leader with a proven track record of growing and guiding top-tier technology software companies through rapid phases of growth. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Placester, Humanyze, Datica and Secure AI Labs. Omar is widely known for his 14-year leadership of software company Imprivata, including taking the company public on NASDAQ in 2014, raising over $66 million in the IPO. Prior to his tenure as president and CEO of Imprivata, which began in 2002, Mr. Hussain's executive career with B2B technology companies includes being Founder and CEO of AnchorSilk, GM of Numega Labs for Compuware, and VP of Marketing and Business Development for Open Environment Corporation. He was named an Ernst and Young 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year for his extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment.

Peter Cannone - CEO, Chairman

Peter is a longtime operator who's committed and keenly positioned to lead and scale companies for significant growth. Before joining DemandScience, Peter served as General Partner at Optum Ventures. Peter was also the Chief Executive Officer of UpCurve, Inc., part of New Media Investment Group and Fortress. Additionally, Peter held the roles of the Chief Executive Officer and President of OnForce, Inc., later acquired by Adecco Global. Prior, Peter was president of PC Connection, Inc. and has held senior executive positions in both sales and operations. He has served on several venture and private equity boards of directors. Peter is currently a board member for MKS Instruments (NASDAQ:MKSI), where he also serves on the Audit Committee. Peter holds a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Susan Fazelpoor - COO

In these positions Susan has had full accountability for marketing, domestic and global sales, procurement and supply chain, product strategy and fulfillment, human resources, training and sales channel enablement, distribution center operations, corporate compliance, systems and technology, sales operations (including project management, analytics, sales development, and operations controlling), customer care, technical support, software licensing, repair services, technical and non-technical value added services, and business operations.
