National Institute for Laser and Optronics (NILOP) was established in 2007 as a state funded Center of Excellence to provide facilities in research, education, and technology in the progressively important areas of lasers and their applications. NILOP is located at about 20km (from Zero Point, Islamabad) in the suburbs of the city of Islamabad surrounded by panoramic views of Margalla Hills... NILOP owns a broad spectrum of theoretical and experimental research facilities and expertise making it one of the most integrated institutes in the country having qualified human resource consisting of 80 faculty, scientists, engineers along with 120 technical support staff members.
