MIDDLE ROCK

Bruce and Lyn farmed Middle Rock until 2023 when ownership transferred to their daughter, Charlotte, and her husband, Vince. The property farms entirely sheep. In 1990 Middle Rock opened to tourism, initially with garden tours. Soon after a farm tour experience was added. In 2012 the farm's existing Shearers' Quarters caught fire leading to a complete rebuild. In 2015 Middle Rock opened the Shearers' Quarters - Middle Rock Farm Stay as purpose built tourism accommodation attracting a diverse clientele of domestic and international visitors.
