Anthony Fay

Joey Fay

Joey was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps upon Graduation from the Naval Academy and served on Active Duty until 2009. While on Active Duty, Joey served with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines and deployed to Fallujah Iraq in 2005. He was then assigned to MCRD San Diego where he was promoted to the Rank of Captain and supported the training of Marines at the West Coast Boot Camp. In 2009 Joey moved home to Pennsylvania to begin a civilian career while transferring his service to the Marine Corps Reserves. Joey started his civilian career as a Project Engineer for Worth & Company in Pipersville, Pennsylvania where he assisted with the construction of one of Pennsylvania's first large-scale LEED Gold projects, Colorcon's Global Headquarters in Harleysville, PA. Within six-months at Worth, Joey was promoted to Project Manager. Joey returned to active duty for a brief period in 2011 and deployed to Cap Dra, Morocco for a joint exercise, and follow on duties at Marine Corps Forces Command in Norfolk, VA. Upon his return, Joey transition to a Project Management role at the University of Pennsylvania Health System where he was tasked with leading over $300M and 500,000 square feet of capital projects in just three years. Joey led the first ever relocation of a Level 1 Trauma Program from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, a unit that currently bears the memorial title of The John Paul Pryor Shock Trauma and Resuscitation Unit. Joey left Penn Medicine in 2015 to pursue his own practice within the CBRE, Philadelphia PJM group. While taking on several CBRE broker driven projects Joey also successfully established a Healthcare + Life Sience Practice within the division and became the Project Leader for two high profile projects, the Doylestown Health Cardiac Expansion Project, and Wexford Science + Technology's uCity Square 14 acre innovation development in West Philadelphia. In 2018 Joey launched Quatrefoil Consulting LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Project Leadership Company. From 2018 through 2024 Quatrefoil continued to expand its client list executing several high profile projects for Penn State Health, the Union League of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers, as well as continuing with project at the uCity Square campus, and the Doylestown Health Campus. Quatrefoil was acquired by and merged with mcfa in February of 2024 where Joey continues his career as the President of Diversified Markets. In his reserve career, Joey is currently a LtCol and a MEPLO in the Marine Corps Reserves. At the Naval Academy Joey became friends with both Travis Manion and Brendan Looney two veterans who were killed in action. Joey now serves as an Ambassador and Mentor for the Travis Manion Foundation, a foundation developed in honor of both men. On an annual basis Joey is honored to give an "Introduction to Character" presentation to the Plebes at the Naval Academy on behalf of the Travis Manion Foundation and his fallen friends.
