LANDSCAPE WOOD

We take some of the old growth cedar landscape wood pieces that are highly damaged, defective or just don't have any real redeeming qualities for landscaping, and we modify them. Every one is an experiment with an unknown result. Sometimes we do not even know what we are looking for: we have to start and the wood will tell us what to do. We are getting some awesome-looking swirly grain and character wood out of these pieces. We are getting many benches that can be a retaining wall bench or a piece of art. We are getting pieces of art that will end up in entry ways or be a room divider and a piece of art at the same time. We are getting smaller pieces of landscape material that will be easier to handle, we are getting carving or turning stock and we are getting material that only the customer will know what to do with, as it will be their idea. One thing for certain: it will be one-of-a-kind when they are done, made from a salvaged tree that is on the order of 500 years old... Spalting..
