He was born April 30, 1935, in White County, Arkansas to A.C. and Merle Anderson. He graduated from North Little Rock High School and entered the United States Marine Corps, serving as a First Lieutenant, flying fixed wing jets and helicopters for the US Navy. He was, at that time, the youngest commissioned officer and took pride in being a Marine. He married the love of his life Yvonne Riggs Anderson on February 19, 1955, in Senatobia, Mississippi. They started a family, having four children that were his pride and joy. They lived in many places and traveled extensively creating many wonderful memories. Lloyd worked in the insurance industry until his retirement in 1998 and settled in Minden, LA to continue his lifelong passion of hunting and fishing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, a good bowl of gumbo, a plate of fried fish, his pets and spending time with those he loved. His legacy is his family who loved him beyond belief.
Lloyd was predeceased by his parents A.C. and Merle Anderson, sister Shirley Anderson Cheney, son Eddie Lloyd Anderson, Jr. and daughter Deborah Lynn Anderson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 67 years, Yvonne R. Anderson, daughter Laura Dickerson-Harvey of Cypress, TX, daughter Angela Anderson and son-in-law Douglas Spiegelberg, Jr. of Arp, TX, grandchildren Jason Anderson and wife Kaylin of Paulina, LA, Sean Moe of Minden, LA, David Dickerson, III and wife Katie of League City, TX, Ashleigh Fuller of Arp, TX, Rachel Klein and husband Chase of Spring, TX, Evan Anderson of Portland, OR, great-grandchildren Peyton, Brody, Lincoln, Abigail, Anderson, Amelia, Harper and Anson, a host of cousins and his faithful companion Daisy.
Helen Elizabeth Madison Yore was born on January 22, 1934 to James Jurrell and Helen Madison in San Diego, Texas, and passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 in Pittsboro, North Carolina at the home of Mike and Marilyn Yore.
Betty married Arthur R. ‘Dick' Yore, USAF in December of 1954 and traveled while being stationed in San Angelo, Texas, England, Omaha, Nebraska, Merced, California, Bangor and Hermon, Maine, and Bossier City until he retired from the Air Force. They then made their home in Doyline, Louisiana and were members of First Baptist Church of Doyline. During their time in Bossier and in Doyline while stationed at Barksdale, Betty was a homemaker, an avid and talented quilter, and an alto in several choirs. She was a member of the Barksdale Officer's Wives Club, Treble Clef, Choral Ensemble, Red Hats, Red River Quilters, and worked at the church thrift store.
After Arthur "Dick" passed in 2010, Betty moved to Shreveport to live with her daughter, Carrie, and her family. She remained in Shreveport until moving with her son, Mike (Marilyn) to Pittsboro, NC., where they took wonderful care of her in her last year. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is especially remembered for making quilts for friends and family or to celebrate a wedding or welcome a new baby.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 55 years, Arthur R. Yore. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mike Yore and wife Marilyn, daughters, Carrie Rachal and husband Tommy, and Bonnie Kirkley and husband Jimmy, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Kelly Thomas Salter entered this world October 26,1966 in Many, LA, and left his earthly body on August 17, 2022, in Bossier City, LA. Kelly was an exceptional character. If you met him once, you never forgot him. He truly left an impact on anyone who had the pleasure to know him. Kelly traveled and lived many adventures in his lifetime. He served in the United States Army from 1986-1991. Kelly often told exciting stories of his stint in Germany, and all the shenanigans they got into. He remembered his time in the service fondly, and never forgot his brothers. Kelly enjoyed all things outdoors. He often said he felt the most at peace in the woods hunting a trophy turkey. Kelly was a generous soul. If he came across a person in need, he'd be there offering a helping hand. Kelly was truly a one of a kind soul and will be sorely missed by many.
Kelly is preceded in death by his beloved mother Gail Todd. He leaves behind is devouted wife Sheri Salter, father Benny Salter and wife Corinne, honorary father Billy Todd, brother Chris Salter and wife Sheila, sister Stacey Acton and husband Brian, brother Boyd Todd and wife Carmen, son Brandon Salter and wife Jessica, son Jesse Salter and wife Katie, son Scott Coker and wife Jimra, daughter Brittini Black and husband Chase, and daughter Taylor Prestridge.
He also leaves behind his adored grandchildren; Dominic, Landon, Mia, Reagan, Jackson, Addison, McKenzie, Macy, Kailyn, Connolly, Henry, Louie, and many chosen grandchildren.

Wanda Nell Merritt McEachern was born on December 7, 1952, in Shreveport, LA and left this Earth in her home in Minden, LA surrounded by her loved ones, on August 21, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents; T.J. and Paunell Merritt, brothers, Charles and Darrell Merritt; sister, Pauline Harkey; granddaughters, Angel McEachern Langley and Kendal Reed; and grandsons, Robbie Reed and Ryan Irving.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald McEachern, Sr.; son, Gerald McEachern, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Chandler and husband Kevin and Lucy Irving and husband Robbie; grandsons, Kevin Chandler and wife Holli, Wesley McEachern and girlfriend Heather, Connor Chandler and wife Kim, Trevor Chandler and Dale Irving; sister, Martha Adkins; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and special friend Brandy McEachern.
