LOWER WHARFEDALE OIL SYNDICATE

Run by volunteers, the Lower Wharfedale Oil Syndicate (LWOS) was set up in 2011 to reduce the cost of heating oil to the community by combining orders into one bulk purchase in order to get the best possible price for it's members. The syndicate covers the following villages in the Lower Wharfedale Parish area: Kearby with Netherby, Huby, Dunkeswick, North Rigton, Weeton, Stainburn, Kirkby Overblow, Sicklinghall, Pool in Wharfedale and Arthington... Lower Wharfedale Oil Syndicate, the communities of Lower Wharfedale and surrounding villages joining together to buy cheaper heating oil by forming a not for profit oil syndicate
