After interning with Dave "Hustle" Elliott, a partner with Tash of Tha Alkaholiks in an independent label, SheRise started working as a publicist with celebrities and brand partners. She worked with rapper and businessman Master P and his son Romeo, and coordinated Olympic medalist Will Claye's album release party. She also produced a celebrity basketball game for the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services with Emmy Award-winning comedian Katt Williams... SheRise has worked on several high-profile projects, including the "Brandy vs. Monica" #Verzuz webcast and casting for the feature film "Santa Games" for Hulu starring Faizon Love. She has also written for Sheen Magazine and interviewed celebrities such as Michael Ealy, Nick Cannon, and Nate Parker...
