EMPLOYMENT 1995-present: President, Mission Accounting, Inc., River Forest. Provide accounting services on a contract basis to non-profit organizations. Prepare monthly financial statements, reports for the Board of Directors, budgets, and audit work papers. Analyze variances between actual and budget, evaluate internal controls, and establish accounting routines. 1994-1995: Director of Finance, Openlands Project, Chicago. Designed and prepared financial reports for this $1 million nonprofit organization including monthly balance sheet, income statement and cash flow report. Established billing routines for grants and related party transactions. Computerized the monthly accounting journal entries and calculations.
