VENTURE ENGINEERING

Venture Engineering was first established in 1990 with Steve S. Powell, P.E as its principle engineer and CEO. Powell graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1979, and, after completing his military service, became the city engineer for the City of Myrtle Beach in the late 1980s. Never one to be satisfied with the 'easy route,' Powell soon found himself eager for a new challenge. Using his military background, common-sense approach to engineering, and inventive problem solving, he struck out on his own and established Venture Engineering... Venture Engineering is a full service engineering firm located in Conway, South Carolina. Our roots are firmly planted in the Grand Strand, but over the years Venture has left its mark in cities and counties all over the Southeast. We are licensed to perform engineering work in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia, and our close-knit family of engineers is well-versed in a broad spectrum of engineering..
