At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut, we partner with volunteers, parents, and families to create one-to-one mentoring relationships that defend, inspire, and empower the potential of Connecticut youth. We provide quality volunteer opportunities for adults hoping to support children's health and development... For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that every child has the ability to succeed, thrive and reach their fullest potential in life. As Connecticut's largest volunteer mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18, in all of Connecticut's 169 cities and towns. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people in need.
