Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization. Our by-laws (Section 1.4) state in part the following: "The Foundation shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office (including, without limitation, the publication or distribution of statements), except as provided in Section 501(h) of the Internal Revenue Code... At LAMVCF, we're resolutely committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in every facet of our work. Our mission to cultivate a vibrant, equitable, and compassionate community revolves around connecting our neighbors together and with opportunities to create enduring local change... LAMVCF has offered a Nonprofit Incubator Program for over 20 years. What started as simply fiscally sponsoring organizations, has evolved to include more extensive administrative and back-end support, as well as a focus on supporting the growth of BIPoC and women leaders.
