Civic leaders and the medical community, with the support of local churches, founded a "temporary" program in 1986 to address the needs of the medically underserved, or those falling through the gaps in our healthcare system. With the support of volunteer doctors, nurses and other caregivers, the Lorain County Free Clinic staff provides primary health care, preventive care, chronic disease management, medical tests, specialty referrals, prescription assistance and health education to low-income individuals and families... We are here to help! We provide health care services to the uninsured and underinsured. From providing quality care to connecting patients to critical community resources, our patients and their needs are our highest priority... Lorain county free clinic is available for medical appointments, doctor visits, routine care, and free prescription medication
