GREYHOUND FRIENDS OF NC

Greyhound Friends is proud and excited to celebrate the placement of over 6,500 retired racing greyhounds into loving homes since our founding in 1993. Like most adoption groups, we come from humble beginnings. We started as a satellite office of Greyhound Friends in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. In the early days, approved adopters met their new greyhounds at the Piedmont Triad International Airport!... Greyhound Friends of North Carolina (GFNC) - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit - is an established adoption agency providing retired racing greyhounds a path to lifelong placement into loving homes, ensuring their health and welfare, and educating the public about greyhounds as pets. We support and endorse relationships with organizations and groups which practice humane and ethical treatment of their dogs.
