ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SCHOOL

Whole Child. Our approach to educating the whole child is built upon the four pillars of formation: spiritual, intellectual, social, physical... SVDP opened its doors in September 1927 with two teachers from the Sisters of Loretto, with 45 students, and with four grades. The Sisters of Loretto served the school for over 50 years until 1986. The Sisters of Saint Joseph served an interim term for 10 years and in 1996, the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia from Nashville, Tennessee, brought the Dominican charism to SVDP at the request of Cardinal Stafford, and continue to lead the school today. The school's enrollment exceeds 400 students and serves children from 3-year preschool through 8 th grade.
