The Office of Global Affairs was formed in 2016 to consolidate West Virginia University's international efforts into one central organization. Formed under the Office of the Provost, Global Affairs combines functions such as Education Abroad, International Student & Scholar Services, and WVU's Intensive English Program to create a holistic and centralized approach to internationalization at WVU... The Office of Global Affairs' mission is to establish a Global University. Through comprehensive and strategic internationalization, we strive to prepare globally-minded graduates who are prepared to excel as part of an increasingly global workforce.
