Carey Thompson comes to Gettysburg with 38 years of experience in college admissions, enrollment, communications, career services, and student financial aid. Previously, Thompson served as Vice President for Enrollment and Communications and Dean of Admission for Rhodes College. His previous roles include overseeing admissions, career services, and student financial planning at Centre College, and leading the admissions team at his alma mater, Furman University.
Throughout his career, Thompson has gained a deep understanding of and appreciation for the admissions process, including serving on the Board of Directors and as President of the Board of Directors for the Common Application. Thompson is recognized broadly for his transformative initiatives at three liberal arts colleges, his deep commitment to diversity and accessibility, and his ability to successfully steer institutional enrollment strategies in the face of dramatic change.

With over twenty years' experience as a leader and strategic partner in student affairs, Dr. Anne Ehrlich is deeply committed to student development and a passionate advocate for the transformational potential of a residential liberal arts college. As the Vice President of College Life and Dean of Students, she provides vision and oversight for a wide array of student-centered programs and services that foster an engaging and inclusive campus climate and prepare students for life after Gettysburg. Previously, Anne served as the Vice President for Student Development at Knox College, and also held positions in student affairs at Woodbury University, Whittier College, and the University of Michigan.
Anne earned an Ed.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MSW from the University of Michigan, and a BA in psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She has conducted research on the impacts of living learning communities throughout her career, and has presented nationally on topics including supporting student mental health, developing inclusive campus communities, and assessment in student affairs.
Dr. Eloisa Gordon-Mora serves as Gettysburg College's Chief Diversity Officer. She is responsible for advancing the institution's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) priorities into the future.
Dr. Gordon-Mora was the inaugural University Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) from 2019-2022. She has over 25 years professional experience in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and civic and democratic engagement.
Before joining UNR, she was Dean of the School of Social Science, Humanities, and Communication at Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM) and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, both in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Prior to relocating to Puerto Rico, she was Vice President for Government Affairs at Safe Horizon; the first full-time Executive director of the philanthropic organization, Daphne Foundation; and the Executive Director of El Barrio Popular Education Program, an academically recognized, action-based research project of the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College-all based in New York City.
On a national level, she was selected as one of "35 Outstanding Women in Higher Education" by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education in 2020. At the regional level, she is one of two Nevada-wide higher education representatives of the Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities' Equity Council, as well as an Equity Leader at the Nevada Complete College Alliance at the state level. In 2021, she was invited to join the boards of both the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada and Northern Nevada Marches Forward, where she currently serves.
As an educator and political scientist, she has focused on poverty and globalization, community organizing and urban politics, post-authoritarian/delegative democracies, and politics in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has taught at Bates College in Lewiston, ME; Universidad de la Frontera in Temuco, Chile; Marymount Manhattan College and Eugene Lang College of the New School for Social Research, both in New York City; and at UAGM. Her research interests include higher education, diversity and inclusion, democratic theory, social violence, and post-colonial and post-structuralist literature.

Dr. Jamila Bookwala, Provost and Professor of Psychology, joined Gettysburg College in July 2023. She is the former Dean of the Faculty at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. Dr. Bookwala serves as a member of the President's Council and joins the College as a Professor of Psychology. Dr. Bookwala has a wealth of administrative leadership experience in the areas of hiring and retaining a talented and diverse faculty; promoting excellence in teaching and scholarship; overseeing orientation and development programs for first-year faculty and leadership training for department heads and chairs; and faculty mentoring, development, and recognition programs. She also has experience in fostering high-impact and experiential learning opportunities-both inside and outside the classroom-and has played a significant role in curricular growth, assessment, and revision. She was recognized twice with the Daniel H. Weiss Award for Leadership and Vision for her collaborative work toward reaccreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and as a member of a strategic task force during the COVID-19 pandemic at Lafayette.

Dr. Rodney S. Tosten is the Vice President of Information Technology. Rod graduated from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in Mathematics in 1985 and returned in 1990 to teach computer science in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Rod's research interests revolve around distributed processing, database and distributed applications on the World Wide Web, and the Java language environment. Rod received his M.S. in Computer Science from West Virginia University and his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Engineering from George Mason University.
Ryan has a B.A. in Biology from Hampshire College, and a Ph.D. in Biology from Harvard University, where he worked in the Museum of Comparative Zoology under its director, James Hanken. He has postdoctoral training from Dalhousie University in the lab of Brian Hall and worked as a Science Policy Fellow through the American Association for the Advancement of Science on energy and environmental policy at the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Ryan's research on amphibian development, ecology, and evolution has been funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the U.S. Fulbright Program, the National Science Foundation, and Sigma Xi. He teaches courses on Ecology, Evolution, Developmental Biology, Amphibian Conservation, Symbiosis, Morphology, and Regeneration for Gettysburg College. He is affiliate faculty with Gettysburg's Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Major, an advisory member of Gettysburg's Public Policy Major, as well as a research associate at the American Museum of Natural History.

Jamie Yates serves as the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer in the Office of Communications and Marketing at Gettysburg College. In this role, she leads the College's holistic and integrated marketing efforts that are designed to enhance the College's brand visibility and reputation. Prior to this role, Jamie served as the director of communications and media relations at Gettysburg College where she directed the College's news and content strategies while serving as the College's lead spokesperson. Mike Coyne serves as Vice President for Finance and Administration at Gettysburg College. Before joining our College community in 2023, Mike spent almost 20 years at Susquehanna University, with his final position being Executive Vice President. Upon his retirement, Mike was granted emeritus status as Assistant Treasurer to the Board of Trustee.

Tres Mullis comes to Gettysburg after a successful 25-year career in higher education. Most recently, he served as executive director of university development at Washington and Lee University, where he led a $500 million fundraising campaign.
Previously, Mullis led fundraising efforts at the Peabody College for Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University, and the alumni relations and development program at Austin Peay State University. He also worked in development for his alma mater, Stetson University.
Mullis first became involved with the college in 2013 when he was asked to observe and make recommendations for Gettysburg's parent fundraising program.
