FOUNDATION FOR SANTA BARBARA HIGH SCHOOL

Our mission is to fund projects that will strengthen the academic program at Santa Barbara High School, improve the physical campus, and enrich the variety of extracurricular activities so that all students have the opportunity to excel both inside and outside the classroom... The Foundation's Board of Directors works closely with the school to identify the highest priority work that falls outside of the school's budget. The Board consists of parents, alumni, and community members. The school's PTSA and Alumni Association each have one voting liaison member. In addition, the school Principal serves as a non-voting member of our board... Since our inception in 2008, the Foundation has raised $10.3 million for SBHS, and leveraged even more for our school.
