FAST EFFICIENT TRANSLATIONS

Fast Efficient Translations - that's me, Julie Byrne (née Ciesielski), a qualified translator originally from Berlin. I have always had a love of - and enthusiasm for - languages. I learned many European languages at school, University, evening classes at the local College and self-taught. During my time as a German teacher in England, I decided to change direction and become a translator. I enrolled on the preparation course for the Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation and was awarded the Diploma in 2007. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. In January 2008, I was also awarded the Masters in Applied Translation, gaining an even deeper insight into the world of translation, learning about various approaches and subject areas... What I love about translation is that no two translations are ever the same but this kind of work gives the chance to develop oneself with each new topic, finding out background information and getting involved in that particular..
