Con Pedale, a musical directive meaning "play with pedal," embodies the sounding beauty of the piano... I approach music as an art and a discipline rather than just a method-learning process. Through working with the pieces of music the student is learning, we cover theory, history and style, as well as technique. Working towards a performance gives us more opportunities to refine what we have practiced. Sight-reading gives us the ability to look ahead and learn to listen.
