As a NSF Top 100 Research Institution and ranked 59th in all public universities without a medical school, Mississippi State has enjoyed a rich history of pioneering chemical education in the Southeastern region of the US. Founded in 1878 we are the oldest American Chemical Society (ACS) accredited program in the state. We offer BA and BS undergraduate degrees with concentrations of ACS certification, Pre-Medical, or Pre-Pharmacy.
