MEDFORD - Key Persons
Dr. Abbett graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, Oregon. She began her dental career at the age of 17 as a Dental Assistant for a local dentist. She continued working as an assistant for 13 years while doing her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, and received her Bachelor and Doctorate in Dental Science from the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Abbett has practiced dentistry in Medford since 1992. She loves living in the Rogue Valley, and giving back to the community including the Southern Oregon Humane Society where she served as Board President, the Children's Dental Clinic, Donated Dental, and the Oregon Mission of Mercy (MOM).
Continuing education is a top priority of Dr. Abbett's. She attends dental workshops and seminars throughout the year. Her focus is through Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ, where she also mentors other dentists.
Dr. Abbett has two beautiful rescue cats, one from Mexico and one from C.A.T.S. She also has a joyously exuberant Labradoodle.
Being healthy and fit is very important to her. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Abbett enjoys cooking, walking, hiking, golfing, cycling and reading.
