I am a children's Occupational Therapist with a specialist interest in working with children with Dual or Multiple Exceptionality (DME) or Twice Exceptionality (2e). I qualified in South Africa in 2000 and lived and worked in England from 2001 to 2022. I worked independently from 2012 to 2022 and it is during this time that my passion for helping children with DME or 2e was sparked. I created the DME-C therapy approach specifically for helping children with DME or 2e who were struggling to reach their potential because of sensory processing differences... To date I have trained over 30 children's Occupational Therapists in the UK in the DME-C approach.
