Our mission is to connect our community to resources that enrich their lives... Organized in 1954, the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety, a suburban county fire and rescue department located in America's Historic Triangle (Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown) on the Virginia Peninsula, provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services to approximately 69,000 citizens and over 23,000 households in addition to daily workers, visitors, tourists, commuters and travelers...
