LAKE MARTIN

From a concept in 1998 to a newly chartered organization later that same year, the Lake Martin Area Economic Development Alliance is a story of progress. In just five full years of operation, the Alliance has helped locate ten companies to Coosa and Tallapoosa Counties, creating almost 1,000 current and future jobs, and a capital investment of over $4 million... The mission of the Lake Martin Area Economic Development Alliance is two fold. One, to attract new business and industry to the Lake Martin area; and two, existing business and industry retention.
