Catherine is a paralegal at the Law Offices of Jurij Mykolajtchuk. She has previously worked with Jurij during the summers of 2018, 2019, and 2020. Catherine graduated with High Distinction from the University of Michigan in 2021, earning her B.S. in Biology, Health, and Society. She assists Jurij by drafting, proofreading, and assembling legal documents, carrying out legal research, and providing administrative support.

Jurij concentrates his practice on counseling clients regarding sophisticated estate planning, with particular focus on tax issues, and estate and trust administration. Prior to establishing his own firm, Jurij worked as a trusts and estates attorney at some of the most prestigious law firms in the United States. Jurij worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Shearman & Sterling and Schlesinger Gannon & Lazetera in New York as well as at Hannoch Weissman in New Jersey. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jurij worked as a certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse and as an Assistant Vice President - Tax, at Citicorp. Before pursuing a career in taxation, Jurij worked as a financial analyst at Johnson & Johnson. Jurij is fluent in Ukrainian. Jurij is a founding member of the Planning and Estates Law Project at The City Bar Justice Center, which advises low-income individuals on personal planning, end of life, and estate matters.
