Entrust Foundation has generous and humble beginnings. Eugene Veith started a transport business in the mid-1930s and grew it to become the largest parcel delivery enterprise in Melbourne by the mid-80s. Eugene's Christian faith inspired him to help the world's poor and disadvantaged by giving away his profit, drawing only a basic wage for himself and his family. He distributed an estimated $23 million in his lifetime! The Entrust Foundation was formed in 2008, two years before Eugene died, to continue the work beyond his lifetime. Now 15 years on, we are a highly respected not-for-profit organisation, partnering with 55 overseas organisations in Africa, India and Asia, to enable hope in hard places... Entrust understands that the greatest needs in our world rarely feature on the 6 o'clock news.
