Adam Shapiro serves as Managing Partner of East Rock Capital. Prior to co-founding East Rock, he worked in the Special Situations Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co and in the Private Equity and Mezzanine Finance Groups at Darby Overseas Investments, Ltd. He graduated from Yale College with a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, was a Fulbright Scholar in Argentina, and received an MBA from Columbia Business School. Adam serves as a Trustee of the Mount Sinai Health System and on the President's Council on International Activities at Yale University. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia Business School where he teaches "B8361 - 001 Managing Large Pools of Assets for Families and Institutions."

Alexandra Schueler joined East Rock Capital in 2024. She was previously Senior Director, Business and Program Development at the Milken Institute and launched its New York and Miami offices. While at the Institute, Alexandra secured strategic partners and sponsors for the Institute's renowned programming and founded the Institute's Forum for Family Asset Management (FFAM). Prior to the Institute, Alexandra worked at Guggenheim Partners and Lord Abbett & Co. She received a B.A. in Spanish and European studies with a minor in corporate strategy from Vanderbilt University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a Senior Advisor to Milken Institute.
Anne Gibson joined East Rock Capital in 2018. Prior to joining East Rock, she worked in the arts as a gallery assistant, and later moved into a role at a hospitality-focused public relations firm. Anne graduated from Trinity College with a BA in Art History.

Annika Oostenink joined East Rock Capital in 2023. Prior to joining East Rock, she worked as a clinical research coordinator at Mount Sinai Health Systems. Annika graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Psychology.
Brian Waterhouse joined East Rock Capital in 2023. Mr. Waterhouse previously worked as a Partner at Hunter Capital and a Managing Director at Blue Ridge Capital, where he was a fundamental L/S investor. Prior to this, Mr. Waterhouse worked as an Associate at Millennium Technology Value Partners. Brian holds a BS from the University of Utah and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Bryan Molinet joined East Rock Capital in 2013. Prior to joining East Rock, he worked in fund administration where he developed and led operations, accounting policy and financial reporting for the firm's U.S. client base. Prior to fund administration, he was an auditor in the financial services group at Ernst & Young. Bryan is a CPA, and has BBA and MBA degrees in Accounting and Finance from Pace University.

Bryan Nance joined East Rock Capital in 2022. He previously worked as an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions (including distressed M&A), joint ventures, co-investments and related equity investments and arrangements on behalf of private equity and private credit funds and publicly traded and privately held companies. Bryan is a member of the New York State Bar. He holds a JD from The George Washington University School of Law and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from The King's College (New York).
Camille Roma joined East Rock Capital in 2021. Camille previously worked as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Elliott Management Corporation and Ziff Brothers Investments. Prior to this, she was an auditor at Grant Thornton. Camille is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
Caroline O'Keefe joined East Rock Capital in 2023. Prior to joining East Rock, she was a Commercial Finance Intern at Viatris, a pharmaceutical company. Caroline graduated one year early from the University of Pittsburgh with a BSBA in Finance and a minor in Political Science.
Caroline Schmidlapp joined East Rock Capital in 2022. Prior to joining East Rock, she was a Vice President at Dynamics Search Partners, an executive search firm focused on the alternative investment space, where she led private equity, hedge fund, and endowment recruiting efforts. Caroline graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Human Environmental Science.
Emily Newcomer joined East Rock Capital in 2023. Prior to joining East Rock, she worked in the arts as a Gallery Assistant as well as an Executive Assistant at a private art collection. Emily holds a BA in Art History from Furman University and an MA from the Pratt Institute in Arts and Cultural Management.
Gabrielle Tazza joined East Rock Capital in 2022. Gabrielle previously worked as an Accounting Manager and Assistant Fund Controller at Third Point Management and Elliott Management, respectively, where she oversaw the reporting processes. Prior to this, she worked as an auditor at Grant Thornton. Gabrielle holds a BS and Master's in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
Georges Mahama joined East Rock Capital in 2022. During college, he served as Managing Director for his school's student managed fund. Georges graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Finance, Minor in Data Science.
Ingrid Abeleda joined East Rock Capital in 2017. Prior to East Rock, she was a project manager for Ralph Lauren, where she oversaw the annual real estate pipeline for North America, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Ingrid has a post-graduate diploma from London Contemporary Dance School, Conservatoire for Dance & Drama and a BA in Dance with a minor in Classical Piano from Goucher College. She spends her spare time leading mission trips to Peru and Jamaica with her husband.
Isabella Melchiorre joined East Rock Capital in 2019. Prior to joining East Rock, she worked as a recruiter for clinical development at Howard Sloan Search. Isabella holds a BAS in Advertising/Public Relations and Communication Studies from the University of Alabama.
Jessica Arena joined East Rock Capital in 2015. She previously worked in the tax department of the financial services group at EisnerAmper where she was a tax preparer and worked on fund administration. Prior to that, Jessica was part of the tax department at Crowe Horwath. She graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with BS in Mathematics and a MS in Accounting.
Joe Gucciardo joined East Rock Capital in 2018. Prior to joining East Rock, he worked as an auditor in the financial services group at PwC. Joe is a CPA with a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. Outside of the office, Joe serves as the Treasurer of the JDJ Foundation, which is a broad-based charitable foundation that focuses on being a force of good in the community.
Lee Yosefoff joined East Rock Capital in 2024. Lee previously worked as an investment professional in the private equity group at New Mountain Capital. Prior to New Mountain, she worked in the Media & Telecommunications investment banking group at J.P. Morgan.
Lucy Chavez joined East Rock Capital in 2022. Prior to joining East Rock, Lucy worked at Jaguar Growth Partners as a Senior Accountant where she focused on management company and fund accounting. Prior to Jaguar, she worked at Geller Advisors and Soros Fund Management where she focused on the accounting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Lucy holds a BS in Health and Human Services.
Mark Millard joined East Rock Capital in 2019. Mark was previously Director of Business Development at US Radiology, a Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe portfolio company, where he focused on new investment opportunities. Prior to US Radiology, he worked at a $700MM growth equity firm, Frontier Growth, and a sell-side M&A firm, BlackArch Partners. Mark graduated from Davidson College with a BA in English and was a member of the varsity soccer team.
Mason Kronenfeld joined East Rock Capital in 2010. Mason was previously a controller at RNK Capital. Prior to being a controller, he was an auditor in the financial services group at Ernst & Young. Mason is a CPA and holds an MBA and BS in Accounting from the State University of Indiana at Bloomington.
Matthew Hyman joined East Rock Capital in 2020. Previously, Matthew was a Senior Associate at Constellation Advisers where he provided advisory consulting and outsourced accounting services to alternative investment management firms. Prior to Constellation, Matthew was an auditor in the financial services group at Crowe LLP. Matthew is a CPA and graduated with a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

Michael Marks joined East Rock Capital in 2007. Michael was previously a securities litigation attorney primarily representing institutional investors. Michael also served as an auditor in the financial services group at Ernst & Young. He is a CPA and a member of the New York State Bar. Michael holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Michele Mathiesen joined East Rock Capital in 2020. Prior to joining East Rock, Michele utilized her creative and organizational skills in a range of fields including publishing, design, luxury retail, hospitality and venture capital. She has a BA in Design from UCLA and a degree in Interior Design from FIDM in San Francisco. Michele is a California native, now residing in New York City.
Nichole Wagner joined East Rock Capital in 2013. She was previously Director of Investments at SF Capital Group, a single family office, where she oversaw manager selection, as well as diligence efforts on co-investment and direct opportunities. Earlier, she worked at the investment consulting firm Veritable. Nichole graduated from Penn State with a BS in Finance.
Patrick Andersen joined East Rock Capital in 2007. He has contributed to building East Rock's current portfolio of managers, fostering multiple seed relationships and partnering with managers to help them hone their talent and develop new areas of expertise. Patrick previously worked at Luxor Capital and Putnam Investments. He graduated from Williams College with a BA in Mathematics and Economics. Patrick has run the New York City marathon for over a decade to raise money for Foyer Espoir Les Enfants, an orphanage and school in Haiti.

Shaun Getchell joined East Rock Capital in 2018. Shaun previously worked as an attorney specializing in private investment fund formation and investments, joint ventures, segregated account mandates and co-investment transactions. Shaun is a member of the New York State Bar and the Massachusetts State Bar, as well as an Authorized House Counsel in the State of Florida. Shaun holds a JD from Tulane University Law School and a BA in Political Science from Boston University.
Sonya Graumann joined East Rock Capital in 2017. Previously she worked in hotel marketing, revenue and rooms management. Sonya graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA from the Religion & Classics Department and has a MA in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Talia Blue joined East Rock Capital in 2023. Prior to joining East Rock, she worked as a Lifestyle Assistant for Somerset White, a luxury private concierge service. Talia graduated from New York University in 2021 with a BA in Media Studies.
Tim Boros joined East Rock Capital in 2021. Tim previously worked at Deloitte, as part of their Transactions & Business Analytics advisory group. He also previously worked at growth equity firm Frontier Growth. Tim graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Business Administration.
Tova Snitzer joined East Rock Capital in 2016. Tova was previously an assistant controller at Orange Capital, an activist fund, where she was involved in operations, compliance, and investor relations duties. Prior to this, she was a financial services auditor at EisnerAmper. Tova is a CPA and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Accounting from Touro College.
Will Dubé joined East Rock Capital in 2020. He previously spent three years at Frontier Growth, a growth equity firm focused on investing in software companies. Will graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Finance.
